Picking a place to stay like this one is a cost-saving measure. I understood that when I made a reservation there. It was significantly cheaper than any of the other options I saw. When it says it sleeps 5, what that means is there are two full-size (not queen-size) beds and a couch where the arm rests extend so a person can sleep there. We were a party of 3 so it was okay, although there were no extra linens for sleeping on the couch. The place was clean enough. There were only two towels in the bathroom (which was extra surprising, since the owner reached out to me to make sure they knew how many people were coming). The heating/cooling system is really weird. Heat is supplied in the bedroom and cooling is provided in the front room, so the two systems are constantly battling each other. Sleeping on the couch was cold and sleeping on the beds was rather warm (the owner must be spending a lot of unnecessary money on energy).
I will not be coming back due to the following. The default check-in instructions say the owner will meet you in person to let you in. This changedat the time if check-in to just provide us with the code for the door lock. However, they gave us the WRONG code. We stood, exhausted from the day's activities, outside of the rental, for 30 minutes going back and forth with the owner via the reservation app. The owner insisted we were entering the code incorrectly. Finally, he looked it up and gave us a different code that worked..will not be coming back!
