“Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked to order every day. As we have family in the area, we have always struggled to find good accommodation but Lynedene ticked all the boxes!! “I loved my stay here for the week and everything was amazing in every aspect apart from the doors... Oh my god!... Every door was equipped with self closers which is great but they were not calibrated properly. This meant that every single door slammed every time someone used one and it was incredibly frustrating when someone was using them often into late night/early morning. Apart from that then everything about the stay was wonderful in every way.”

“The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers. It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well.”
