We travelled here for a week as a family with several younger children and really enjoyed our stay! The house had plenty of space for us, had a wonderful kitchen, and we also enjoyed the access to the river right at the back yard. It made for very relaxing afternoons, and the perfect place to watch the sunset at the end of the day.

Great riverfront cottage with a nice view of New Bern! Very clean and stocked with everything we needed and then some! Very convenient, short drive over to New Bern. Thanks for hosting us, we had a great time and definitely would love to return!

Great stay at the river cottage

This is the perfect place for us near New Bern, NC. The river view is great, and the sunsets are unbelievable. Nice cottage and a quiet area.

This has been one of the best vrbo’s that I have stayed. The home was exceptionally clean and anything you would need is there. The views are exceptional and the screened in porch and sunroom were fantastic. I look forward to another relaxing trip in the future. I had one small question and Susan replied very quickly. The pictures on website are completely accurate.

Our family enjoyed our visit to Bridgeton and surrounding areas. The check in process was painless. Everything was just as shown in the photos. The home was beautiful and enjoyed the dock for fishing and relaxing. Would love to revisit.

Birthday trip

Loved staying in the river. Watching the river flow by was very relaxing. Did travel to the area beaches. Did find a few great restaurants with great food and drinks. Plan on coming back!

Extremely clean, nicely decorated, every drawer and cabinet shelf labeled so you know where everything goes. Loved that! Foodie kitchen with all the gadgets. Loved the screened in porch with fan. The hosts have put a lot of thought into this place and it shows the love. Would definitely recommend this place, you can’t go wrong. 5 stars!

Great Stay

This was our second stay here and it was every bit as good as the first. Great location right on the water and close to downtown New Bern, clean as a whistle, quiet and well equipped. We'll be back next year!

Oh, my word!! I cannot emphasize enough the quality of this Vrbo vacation spot! From start to finish, Susan did everything you could hope for to ensure a wonderful place to stay. Communication was thorough and the entrance and location were well explained and easy. The home is BEAUTIFUL! It was clean, it smelled great, and everything was so organized. We had more than you could possibly need for supplies also. And the view from the porch was heavenly! Thank you, we all hope to be back!

Peace on the river

The hosts are wonderful and attentive to any needs. The cottage is immaculate and so beautifully decorated. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Our stay was wonderful. We will certainly be returning.

Birthday celebration

We have stayed in New Bern before but wanted a different location besides a hotel. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck then on the evening our wine on the deck watching the river flow by. It was also a good base to go explore neighboring towns and islands. We would love to go back.

Fantastic sunsets

This is a gorgeous river house, with incredible sunsets every night. The house is very clean, beautifully-furnished, and equipped with everything that a traveler might need. You can also be oceanfront at Atlantic Beach in a little over an hour. A perfect getaway!

Relaxing by the water

The home was outstanding. The property sits directly on the river. Was so relaxing viewing the river while reading, eatting and enjoying a beverage. The home was well furnished and decorated. Thank you for making our vacation outstanding!

We had a great weekend! Views were amazing. We visited Aurora and looked for sharks teeth then did a little fishing from the dock.

Great house

This is a beautiful waterfront property with updated features and great waterfront views. The house was impeccably clean and welcoming. The house is very spacious. My entire family enjoyed their stay. We would definitely stay here again.
