Cute Cozy Nest
My husband and I so enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and decorated so nicely. The two huge windows with the long window seat were great for reading. We ate out on the deck as we looked over the beautiful property. JoAnn was great with communications. So glad we chose this place!

Away from it all
After finally finding this place using our Waze app, we were pleasantly surprised. The listing only says Bucks County, the owner said it was in Carversville & the Waze said it was in Plumstead. It is a 15 min ride to New Hope. The host, Joann told us it was set back from the road & the mailbox across the street, this helped. P Parking was nice and the room was around the side of the house with a private deck facing the beautiful pool, which we used, and beautiful countryside. I woke up early to catch the most beautiful sunrise. The bed was comfortable. We used the small fridge and Keurig. Coffee set up. Fortunately I brought a blower dryer, I didn’t see one, there was an iron & nice big tv. The bathroom was a nice size.there were fruit trees on the grounds & Joann offered me peaches, which I canned when I returned home. The property is a work in progress and not fancy but so comfortable and quiet. The host answered my questions promptly before our stay. We attended a family reunion in Lambertsville about a 1/2 hr away.

Amazing space and kind host!
The space was very well decorated, comfortable, and welcoming. JoAnn was very attentive, giving us recommendations for where to go and was happy to provide anything we needed. Highly recommend both the space and the nearby areas of Doylestown, New Hope, and Lambertville

Amazing Getaway
My wife and I (and our pup) absolutely love this property as a getaway from the city. We’ve been back twice now and plan to come again! JoAnn is a lovely, generous host who always makes sure we have everything we need. The property is immaculate and beautiful! We can’t say enough good things about it!

Joanne was very pleasant. She made some very good recommendations for local meals and activities. The room was very clean and comfortable. The area was beautiful. Loved that she had real creamer for the coffee! Definitely would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely weekend stay
We enjoyed this property and would stay there again if we're in the area. JoAnn was easy to communicate with, check-in was simple, and the room was clean and welcoming. It has a beautiful view, large windows, and a super-comfy bed. The fridge and microwave are dorm-sized so there isn't a way to prepare meals but you can stow some leftovers or keep drinks cold. The A/C is a wall-unit and kept the room comfortable. This property was perfect for a weekend stay.

Valley Edge Oasis
This is our second time staying with JoAnn at Valley Edge, and it was like coming home. Beautiful, tranquil and serene. JoAnn knows the area well, and has tips for all sorts of activities and interests. We're already planning trip #3 when the pool's open and the garden's in bloom. Thank you, JoAnn!

Valley Edge Sanctuary
Our stay at JoAnn's Valley Edge bungalow was wonderful. The studio is beautifully appointed and artfully decorated. Two big picture windows look out over rolling countryside, and every morning we were greeted with a gorgeous sunrise. JoAnn is the consumate Host and knows the area well. She recommended dinner at the nearby historic Black Bass Hotel on the Delaware River, which was terrific. Our only regret - not having time to enjoy a glass of wine w/JoAnn on the deck one evening - next time!

Lovely room with a view!
A perfect place to rejuvenate and watch breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. The host was super friendly and accommodating with anything you can possibly need for your stay. Would definitely like to come back in the summer and try out the pool!

JUST AWESOME!
This sacred space is so perfect. It is like a Zen meditation sanctuary. Super clean-quiet-and so cozy. The view is outstanding-takes your breath away. The Host is such a beautiful Spirit. Clean and pleasant, dog friendly
The space is very comfortable with an especially nice shower. The host is dog friendly and our pet had lots of room to walk leashed. Close to town, and to get there you drive through beautiful historic houses.

Very private and pretty location
Everything was perfect really. If I was to suggest ANY changes, it would be to have a little table to put your coffee mug and phone down next to the bed as well as next to small couch. Maybe more supply of, and variety of K cups. Other than these minor suggestions, I would highly rate this stay! And I appreciate her allowing our furbabies! Perfect fall weekend
What an incredible way to watch the sunrise over the PA hills... just leave the blinds open over night (extremely private), wake up, roll over— gorgeous! Joanne is friendly and helpful. Room is spotless and centrally located for trips to Doylestown, New Hope and lots of hiking options.

Paradise in Bucolic Doylestown, PA
Can't recommend enough. Everything from the communication with the host, JoAnn to the scenic country setting, to the pool was just perfect. JoAnn was a responsive and welcoming host and made sure I had everything I needed. Comfortable bed, updated large shower, clean sheets and towels, a new tv (not that you'll want to watch any—there's so much beauty in the immediate surroundings). I went on jogs right from the house along the scenic country roads which take you around the area. Just a short drive to Lambertville, Doylestown, New Hope, Stockton and Lahaska—all fun spots to visit and walk around. JoAnn's place is the perfect place if you're looking for a quiet country getaway, simply put.

Lovely and charming
My husband and I had stayed somewhere else the week before, and we were supposed to return home on Friday. But, we weren't quite ready to go home yet. At the last minute we decided to see if we could find a place to stay for the weekend to extend our vacation. We really lucked out with this place! It was charming. The layout was wonderful with large open windows, so you could lay in bed and admire the beautiful views outside, and the art work was terrific! Loved it!

Relaxing stay
We had such a wonderfully relaxing experience at JoAnn’s place. The room was charming, spotless clean, the bed was comfortable and the view from the double windows was insane! I could’ve stayed in bed the whole day looking out at the mountains... JoAnn was a great host, let us have our privacy, and also sent us info about the local attractions. The only thing I hadn’t realized was that the pool wasn’t heated, but it was a hot day so it didn't matter that much. I would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway with a partner or even oneself. Hope to be back!

Very relaxing and beautiful!
The area is very quiet and the views are great, we also had a nice weather to enjoy the pool. JoAnn was amazing, very pleasant, answered our questions very fast and her house has everything you need. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay one more day. We will be back!

Great getaway!
It was such a great getaway from NYC. The room has a large window which offers a great view. The pool is clean. JoAnn is really nice. Location of the property is close to restaurants about 20 mins ride away. I highly recommend this rental 👌

Summer vacation
We just spent a week at Joann place ...it was very clean and comfy and we enjoyed ourselves there a lot . Joann was very helpful and responsive to all our needs and questions and she was a pleasure to deal with. We definitely would recommend this place for a couple looking to get away for a few nights. Peaceful and lovely stay
This area was perfect, quiet and peaceful. The room itself was super clean and comfortable. The pool was AMAZING the water was always on a perfect temperature. There are a lot of good restaurants around so you can easily order take out. JoAnn was a perfect host she gave us the space and privacy but always there if you needed her. Totally planning on coming back.

Good experience the only issue was my wife was very excited to swim in the pool but a was never explain on the description that the Pool was closing at 6 pm and my check in was at 3 pm I got there at 5:45 pm my check out was at 11 am

Tranquility of rural life

Getaway from NYC
This was our first stay in PA. The room was very neat and clean. Spacious enough for a couple. The pool was amazing and always maintained clean by JoAnn. JoAnn was the sweetest and most attentive person. She even took my puppy for a walk so we could enjoy the pool better. Highly recommended and I will definitely be booking here again.

Not for me
This home away wasn't for me. As it felt like I was at my uptight aunts house. It felt like we were being watched and monitored. The host stayed in the house attached, where we could hear them laughing through the walls as we tried to sleep at night. What I thought was going to be a peaceful getaway, turned into an uncomfortable stay. The pros the pool and outdoors are nice, the shower has a nice pressure. The room itself was just okay, however she does have nice sheets on the bed. I honestly am shocked by all the good reviews. The sitting window also had ants, every time we sat down at least 4 or 5 small ants appeared. Also some dead some alive what I think were beetles kept appearing. I understand it's the country, but, on a vacation or if I was at a hotel, something like bugs is unacceptable. I would have to give this place a solid 3 stars. But will have to give it 1 for My overall experience and customer service. Without the pool this is easily a 50 dollars a night room. I guess we are more of hotel

Well, This is the first disgruntled guest I have had. I have had no complaints about bugs or ants and honestly haven't seen ants. No one has complained about bugs since or before. That said, it is the summer and bugs do fly in when you leave the door open. Addressing being watched: They were able to enjoy the pool alone, which is unheard of during a 4th holiday. As they were drinking by the pool, where in the pool policy states- no eating/drinking by the pool. Guests private porch is a stones throw away. The only communication I had was to ask if their drinks were in glass and they responded no and I let that pass; even though they they obviously didn't read the pool rules which are in the room and by the pool. Other than that we had no communication. It was the 4th and yes, there was some laughter -which thankfully we all can do during these trying times. In the end I would agree.. a hotel would have worked better for them.

Gem nestled amongst the trees
Coming from NYC anything is going to be more peaceful but one would find peace regardless. More than enough distance between properties, set far enough back from road that there is no noise. Simple property with everything done well. Would suggest a pair of binoculars to catch better sights of different birds.

Pretty room with a view
Overall, it was a clean, pretty room with a great, open view. The listing pictures don't show how beautiful the view is from inside the room. The location was close to many attractions and restaurants, but far away enough to be very private. The hostess was very nice and accommodating with quick reply to questions. The only little thing was the Notes section indicated baked goods on the doorknob for part of the stay. That should be removed.

Sweet getaway in the country.
This was a lovely place to stay with a nice porch outside to have morning coffee ☕. The bed is comfy and the shower delightful. However, it does not come with a kitchenette as most places where I have stayed. I may have missed this information, but I was very disappointed and it was very inconvenient for us over our 2 day stay. We were planning on cooking breakfast and dinner there, and enjoying our days out exploring the area. It would have also helped having end tables by the bed, and Hooks for clothing and towels by the shower. Just minor things to make our stay more comfortable. All in all it was still a good place to stay.
