Not Bad but Not Memorable
Our cottage was a bright yellow room, 2 queens beds on the first floor. The room was spacious but very outdated and in need of repairs/updates. The beds were however, very comfortable and the whole place was very clean and spacious. It was fine for a last minute, one night stay. Good location between New Hope & Doylestown.

Overpriced for an adequate place to stay while traveling for a funeral. No staff on premises “after hours”, we arrived at 8pm. We did receive a call that afternoon to check in over the phone. Access to room was no problem with the code they gave us. No tissues in the room, one drinking cup, no cups for the keruig in the AM. We should have traveled a little farther and paid less at another motel. Adequate.

I loved many things about the New Hope Lodge, including its vintage appeal, the remarkably comfortable bed and pillows, and some quirky, one-of-a-kind details. I enjoyed the bathroom tile and the rustic paneling I found in my room - mostly due to the fact that, here, something older was preserved and spruced up rather than gutted and remodeled. They do have some work to do, though: like putting a mattress pad on that cozy bed, reducing the amount of light that pours through the windows from the porch lamps when people are trying to sleep, and cleaning up the outdoor spaces. My view would have been a little picturesque, but was tangled by a rusted, discarded pool ladder and other debris. This place has a TON of potential, and I hope it is fully recognized.

Check in was wonderful. We were able to drop our stuff off early and go to town again to shop. Thanks to the young man at the desk. Grounds are very nice for an older property. Beautifully landscaped. Room itself was as expected per other reviews. Bathrooms are original to 1960's or 70's and could definitely use an upgrade. Clean but fittings are rusted and putting an extended toilet seat on a round front toilet makes it unusable for men to sit on. Rooms are dark from all the wood but in decent shape: think country cabin. You can hear everything from the next room. Overall, the pricing was good for the area and would probably consider again. If they fixed the bathrooms, definitely would.

The staff were very nice at the front desk, especially Jacob! He was friendly and very professional. The room was on the cold side, no matter how you turned up the thermostat. I think the hotel is on the older side, quaint but a little tired. Carpet stains and dirty around toilet. But beds were comfy and very clean!

If you want basic accommodations with no frills this is the place. It was clean. It is a 1960s motel with a nice TV and a fairly comfortable bed. The curtains do not block the outside light, so if you need darkness to sleep it will be a problem. It is moderately priced place for the area.

A beautiful property, with a great location. Our first time staying there our room was much nicer and the shower water was not brown. Also, our porch was shared with other people that were up all hours of the night and someone actually knocked on our door at 3 AM. But we do like the place and are planning on coming back in the summertime when the pool and fire pit is open.

Room seemed clean. However, We found a womens hair tie rubberband and a Vitamin on the carpet, so I doubt they vacuumed before we came. Kind size bed in room 5 was very comfortable. Seemed brand new. Refrigerator in picture shows to be tallee. Our refrigerator was "knee height". It should be sitting up on something because the frig door was hard to open due to the carpet. TV small, but worked fine. Wifi worked fine. No coffee or microwave in room.

Cute hotel
The hotel was very cute. I like how they were individual cottage type rooms. They had a porch where you can sit and enjoy the fall air. It’s in a good location close to near by attractions. It’s very basic and has a very retro vibe.

The bathroom floor was not cleaned. Room features, such as carpet, toilet, bath, etc., were worn and stained. There was no phone in the room. I needed to ask the front desk a question. I called them on my cell and received a recorded message that the number I reached was busy and no voice mail could be left.

New Hope, PA
Last minute we decided to stay in New Hope. The location was wonderful. The grounds were well kept and beautifully landscaped. The property appears to be undergoing a face lift and is looking good. Sadly our room had a terrible mold smell. I woke during the night coughing and unable to breathe. Bath towels were very small and thin.

Not happy that hotel check in said the price paid in full ( which I paid In advance) was 20.00 plus change was less than hotels.com charged me . Hotels when contacted told me they have no control over prices as hotels buys rooms in group ( to me hotels was ALWAYS less / better deals then going through individual hotels) guess just like everything else great deals are fading away

The facility was a little outdated, but that added to the charm. The only recommendation I have is to increase water pressure and increase the hot water temperature. I would definitely stay here again!

Really did not find anything to like. Rooms have a musty odor about it. Bathroom was horrible. No amenities whatso ever. No clock, facial tissues. Lucky to have toilet paper. This place had to have been built in the 50's, with no upgrade. TV was marginal with channel selection. All in all extremely disappointed.

Staff were very helpful, as I realized that I wouldn't make it there before the office closed (long delayed flight). So that was very helpful, and they gave me a bit of later checkout the next day. Also much appreciated. This is a bit of a funky little place with some character. The room is dated and could really use a big refresh. However it is clean and quiet. Bed comfortable. Good price for New Hope and close to the center of town. Just stayed one night in order to visit a friend the next day. I would stay again under similar circumstances.

Roughing it
More cottage than hotel. Mostly outdated. Could use upgrades… toilet, shower, sink especially. TV/Cable didn’t work… late nite - first replaced remote batteries, then 30+ minutes to try to get channels… no success. However, staff were always friendly snd helpful. Definitely tried to accommodate all around.
