“Loved the views around the old farm house.The listing is accurate as an old house and it had large rooms and old time feel. It is noisy at night as we had a large group and you could hear the floors and doors as people moved about.It does need a little TLC as there were spider webs and dead insects that need to be cleaned up. Bath rooms were very clean.The beds were comfortable but the futons were as expected (not very comfortable).”

Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. “As soon as we walked in the door, Magnolia house looked and felt very clean and cozy. A lot of restaurant choices for a small town. The house is in a great location for our trip to visit family. And thankfully the beds were super comfortable after a long day of family events.”

“We had a perfect getaway for three couples. The layout provided plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable without having to share bathrooms. The absolute highlight was the deck overlooking the river-it was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. Having such a scenic, peaceful space to gather made our weekend truly special. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!!!”

“Great setup on the river. Close to hiking and other amenities, like Masanutten water park. For us, the setup of the property was even better in person. Kids loved the loft. We used the hot tub every night along with the fire pit. Lots of wood split and ready. Kayaking was a blast and really beautiful views no matter what direction you look. You can hear the river flowing from the house with the windows open. Even our dog had a blast! Everything was clean and organized. Highly recommend. ”
