“Another great time! The lake was beautiful as always. Some amenities need some work and maintenance; but the place is as great as it was the previous 2 times we stayed. Also, the waterfall hike is completely different now and we had to take a detour around a huge landslide. Crazy to see what Mother Nature can do in the 2 years since our last stay. ”

“We used this place when our son played baseball in Cooperstown. Though it was an hour away from Cooperstown, it was an easy drive and a great property. Seeing the cows in the front yard one day was a funny surprise - they had gotten out from the nearby farm :). The fly fishing was fun to watch. The A/C units in the upstairs worked great. I would have liked more wash cloths for the shower, but there were plenty of towels. The laundry was excellent to have. It was a wonderful place for 4 adults...

“We had such a great experience at Rivers Edge. The place was spotless and well kept and incredibly well organized. The kitchen was stocked and organized and usable (a first). The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Would gladly stay again. ”

“This house was beautifully, corky decorated and we all loved it. The hosts provide you with everything from Qtips, to dental plackers to hairdryers, indoor and outdoor games and plenty of towels. The central air was a life saver and the 3 full bathrooms were amazing. Can't say enough about how much we loved this place and will definitely stay again. ”

“This property was amazing for our extended family stay. There was plenty of space to stretch out and do your own thing and then come together for meals. Kitchen was ample size to be able to cook for our large party. Paddle boards and kayaks were a great addition and lots of fish were caught. Would definitely recomment this for your extended families stay! ”

“This place is all around AWESOME! From the house to the grounds, the view, the pond, all of it, awesome! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed to have a nice little getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. We had a blast playing air-hockey downstairs, really enjoyed fishing the nice little pond, caught some nice largemouth (catch and release, please!) and enjoyed hanging out in the evening around the firepit. “The lake is beautiful and provides activities, the goats are very cute, the house was clean and comfortable, with A/C, plenty of hot water and water pressure for showers, and space for our things. Just what we wanted for a family long weekend with 3 generations. The owners were very responsive. The deck is in desperate need of a coat of paint and some other maintenance though - hopefully the owners can do some upkeep on the outdoor space soon. ”

“August 9 - 16Extended family reunion. 18 adults and 2 children staying in 4 cabins on the property. Plenty of rooms and beds for all to sleep comfortably. Well equiped kitchens. Limited kitchen facilities in club house, however we had most of our group meals in Eagle Manor. Lots of activities for all ages between 2 pools and game lodge.A note to baby boomers - found out the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival is only a 1 hour drive in Bethal,NY. “We had a wonderful stay! The house is great for large groups, we had 7 people and had lots of extra beds. The guest house is perfect for teenagers that want to feel a bit of freedom! We came from NYC so our teenagers loved having the space. The kitchen is well appointed and the house is clean and cozy. The property it’s self was stunning.
