Great Place in NOLA

Great Option outside of the noisy French Quarter!

The property was exactly as described and offered a nice oasis from the nightlife of the French Quarter! We stayed during Essence fest and were very pleased with how quiet the area is! We will be back every year from now on!

Great stay!

Phenomenal space. Very clean and comfortable. Clean bathrooms, and clean bed. Everything worked. The building and the room had a solid, sturdy quality to it. Buildings foundation felt strong and sound. Very safe with coded check-ins. Doors automatically locked. Great location right next to the convention center. Quiet stay, and only a few blocks from canal and burbon streets. Communication was great and easy, we would definitely stay again.

Our favorite place to stay

We’ve stayed at this property at least 4 times now. We always know what to expect. Apartments are clean and very cozy. Perfect location to walk to all the sites we want to see. Beds are extremely comfortable, we always leave well rested.

A big shout out to Cami, she solved any issues in a prompt, professional and pleasant manner. The room itself was very nice, well laid out, decorated well, the beds were very comfortable and everything was well stocked, My only suggestion to improve the stay would be to get rid of the poor Direct TV with their cumbersome and outdated remotes and iffy service and replace it with a real cable service.

Clean home in a great location

The Iris exceeded our expectations. Super clean. Great location. Quiet. Well appointed. We walked everywhere and there were also lots of close-by places to eat and drink and very easy access to Uber/Lyft. Beds were super comfortable. Everything was great. We'd stay here again.

Wonderful Stay, Very Clean

The loft is exactly as advertised. The beds are comfortable and we liked that there were no windows in the bedrooms since we prefer to sleep in total darkness. The place really well stocked and it felt new and clean.

Conference and Fun

I had a 3-day conference at the convention center in June. My husband and another couple joined me. While I was conferencing, the friend worked remotely and the guys did some "touristy" things. Once the conference ended midday Wednesday, we all took off and visited parks, museums, a couple of music halls, art galleries, restaurants, breweries, etc. The next few days and evenings were all about fun. Here is what we learned. If you have an event at the Convention Center, The Refinery Apartments are a perfect location; it is literally a two-block walk from the Refinery which is also walking distance from Burbon Street, many restaurants, The French Market, shopping, museums, and much, much more. If you do not feel like walking, the public transportation is cheap ($3/day or $8/3-days) for the bus and street car. You can get on and off of both all day for that price. The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equipped, quiet. If you've never been to NOLA, you should go. It really is safe though the French Quarter (ie Burbon Street) is not really clean and it is very loud! One visit to Burbon St is plenty unless you really want to drink a lot but if you just go one block in either direction there are still plenty of places to grab a drink, get great food, and listen to incredible music. We went to the Mahogony Music Club two evenings and both bands were fantastic. The Refinery was perfect for our group. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutley loved staying here at the apartment in the refinery! It was so clean and beautiful! Perfect location, 0.9 miles from the French Quarters, loved the balcony!

Amazing place to stay

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and this was the perfect stay. The place was clean and the host was in contact to make sure things were going well! The beds were very comfy. I have nothing but good things to say about the Iris!
