Charming shotgun in great neighborhood
This was the perfect home for an extended New Orleans stay. Beautiful neighborhood— convenient to everything, and lots of local restaurants and bars. Home is well furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. Brad and his sister Lisa were very accommodating hosts.

Quaint New Orleans Flair
Nice home with that old world feel to it. Getting there was difficult but the streets are full of potholes, it was like driving off-road 😜 All the amenities you may need stocked. The neighbor happened to be home and was a relative of the owner. She helped us get settled and gave advice on local fare. The only downside if it's important to you is the TV's in the bedrooms only have antenna service. The living room has cable service although I couldn't get it work, it wasn't important. Plenty of hot water in the shower with toiletries. Parking is very limited and if you have two cars you'll be hunting for a second spot. One dedicated spot in front. Overall, good stay for the night before a cruise. Quiet and peaceful.

Peaceful spot in Leonidas
The apartment is very clean, well-maintained and equipped. We loved the neighborhood and the proximity to the streetcar and the shops/restaurants of Oak Street. The neighbors were lovely and the front porch so comfortable for watching all the human and animal residents of the neighborhood. We didn't want to leave and hope to visit again soon. Thank you Brad and Lisa!!

Making new friends
Brad and Lisa were so kind and helpful had quite the mixup with the first Uber at the airport, contacted VRBO and they worked it out for us. Brad was spot on with directions to their rental. Lisa ( his sister) was waiting outside deformed us and drive us to the store to get dinner. The house worked fine and every day was a new adventure in the trolly. Would love to go back some dat (maybe a different time of year)!

Family reunion
We had a wonderful time here, the neighbors were very friendly and came up to say hi as we sat on the front porch drinking our morning coffee or evening wine. The place itself was great! Reminiscent of my grandparents shotgun unit that I visited as a child. The neighborhood was quiet and right off the trolly line. We used it to go to the French Quarter for morning coffee at Cafe du Monde and to see the French Quarter Music Festival. It's quite a senic ride down. There are a number of quaint restaurants within walking distance. Great atmosphere all around! Even had a peacock visit us right in front of our porch. "Pete" put on an impressive display and was one of the highlights of our trip.

Loved this space
Very comfortable space and liked taking the street car wherever we wanted to go. A number of great restaurants less than a mile. Robert's Grocery Store was an easy walk and was well stocked. Owner is great to work with.

Charming Uptown Retreat
This shotgun duplex (2 bdrm, 1 bath) is uptown near S. Carrollton. Great location. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Near coffee shops & restaurants. It is very clean & well stocked. The owner, Brad, is very responsive. His sister lives next door & is very nice .

Say yes! Perfect location; fantastic shotgun home
House is adorable. Everything is high quality, comfortable, works. The height of the ceilings is amazing. Landlord is instantly available, but not intrusive. Location cannot be better; very walkable neighborhood and trolley literally is around the corner. The beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet; we slept like we were drugged. The linens and towels and furniture are high quality. The bathroom is large and well-appointed. The kitchen is full-sized and well-stocked. We felt safe and at home. There is parking right out front. Do note that this is a shotgun home -- you enter into the living room, walk through to a bedroom, then the kitchen, then a bedroom, then the bathroom. Perfect for families or people who really know and like each other. But if you aren't really close, it will be awkward for you to walk through the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. We had a really lovely time and highly suggest this home.

Feel like a local
This property is in a quiet neighborhood with neighbors who say good morning to each other and lots of dog walkers. The home itself is shotgun style with a layout that worked well for my husband and I. You enter into the living room, walk through th first bedroom to get to the kitchen then walk through the 2nd bedroom to get to the bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked. We especially enjoyed porch sitting while drinking our morning coffee. It is close to the streetcar, but also a short Lyft ride to the busier parts of New Orleans. Brad's sister lives in the adjacent home and was helpful answering questions. We visit New Orleans frequently and have added this property to our list for places to stay.

NOL at last
Main concern re layout is having to go through second bedroom to reach the toilet. Plenty of helpful information re. places to visit. Access to key-box awkward to use first time.

Clean and convenient location
We've always wanted to stay in a NOLA shotgun and we were not disappointed. The place was very clean and convenient. The neighborhood was delightful. We had coffee while sitting on the front porch and chatted with kind locals as they walked their dogs while watching birds and squirrels eat at feeders. Did I mention, delightful?

Adorable Shotgun Home
My daughter and I spent a short vacation in this home . It’s a perfect location! One block to street car with a easy walk to other uptown sites. A Walgreens and grocery store are nearby . The house is a traditional shotgun style . Nicely furnished w comfy beds. I’d stay there again !!

Perfect location to see everything New Orleans has to offer!
Property was easy to find, good neighborhood, and very nice apt. Loved the look of the place and how clean it was. Brad’s sister greeted us and was very helpful with things to do while in NOLA, where to eat, etc. Just a minute walk to catch the St. Charles streetcar, which was good! Would definitely recommend!

This was our second time to stay at Brad's place. The property is just as described and perfectly appointed with nice little extras throughout. The location is close to everything: restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, City Park, the zoo, and the French Market. And it is CLEAN! Can't wait to stay next time we are in New Orleans!

We appreciated the lovely and quiet space, but especially the extra kindness and flexibility of Brad when our flight was delayed and we arrived much later than planned. It was a much needed respite after grueling travel adventures.

This was our first trip to NOLA and our accommodations couldn’t have been any nicer! The beds were comfy and the apartment was as pictured in the photos. It was nice to be in a quiet area that wasn’t too far away from downtown.

College Freshman Pick Up
Our son completed his first year of college, so we made the pilgrimage from Maryland to come pick him up. Our course, with him being so far from home, I packed way more stuff then he needed. This location was perfect. It was close to Loyola, which was a definite plus with all the back and forth that we had to do. I would definitely recommend this house.

Brad's property was clean, comfortable and cozy in a great location just off the St Charles StreetCar. Not far from local restaurants including Oak Street. Brad was super responsive and helpful, giving us great recommendations for food on our first night. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Walk to streetcar and grocery!
Brad was very responsive during planning and during our stay! The home was exactly what we expected! We walked couple blocks to St Charles streetcar. Walked to Roberts Grocery and Walgreens. The home was very clean inside. Beds were very comfortable and clean!! One small improvement Could improve cleanliness of doors and windows. Overall 5 star!

Great place to syay
Great location, RTA line a couple of blocks away, at the end of the line so no issues getting on and having a seat to go into town. Great place for breakfast about 4 blocks away. Riccobono’s Panola Street Cafe. Owners and his sister were very helpful. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely come back😀

Perfect home for a great vacation
Quiet and safe neighborhood a block from streetcar. We were able to access all areas of New Orleans conveniently. Restaurants, grocery and cafés all in walking distance. Owners sister next door made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.. Will definitely use again for future trips to NOLA! We fell in love with the city from this welcoming neighborhood.

Wonderful Location
We loved being within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and bars without the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street! There is a train nearby that we heard late at night for us (11PM!) so be sure to bring a sound machine or wear ear buds.

A beautiful, clean and safe stay!
The host is absolutely wonderful. So incredibly attentive, kind and friendly! We felt completely at home. On a very quiet and safe street, with wonderful and friendly neighbors. We looked forward to coming back to such a lovely place after a long day of sight-seeing.

Wonderful home away from home!
Week visit to NOLA for sister’s bday. The house was more than I hoped for. Safe, quiet neighborhood & easy to get to. Owner’s sister Lisa lives next door & as others have commented was friendly & helpful. House was clean, nicely decorated. Beds were quite comfortable. Kitchen is fantastic for those who want to cook. Brad was very easy to work with, especially as we had last minute change in plans. He was quick to replace the coffee pot that died on us unexpectedly. He is very responsive via this app and that is much appreciated. Had a great time in the city and staying at this place made the whole trip even better than expected. Hope to get to stay here again soon! 😊
