The property was under renovation so the limited room availability was understandable. But we were assigned a room where one of the workers had checked into. We just used our key and there he was shirtless at the dining table. Of course mistakes happen so we had to check into another suite. This hotel is still pretty nice but we rather stay where there is no construction/renovations. We didn’t know until they sent us notice after the cancellation date passed lol. The room was clean and the staff was nice so we enjoyed our stay for Mardi Gras. There was limited parking due to the construction so that was a bit annoying. But overall it was in good shape and we would stay again.

For the price, I expected a really nice room. We get in late and there is a noise in the bathroom that kept popping all night. The refrigerators motor was so loud at random times it woke us all up. I walked into the bathroom and was turning on the shower and hair was on the glass door.

After waiting an hour and a 1/2 to check in and while Expedia. Was trying to get us checked in the lady was rather rude. She was saying that the whole terrible experience was expedias fault and expedia had not paid them. In the middle of the night the fire alarm kept beeping. Maintenance had to come and fix it around midnight. Not a great experience.

The property itself is great. The night we stayed there were guests who allowed their children to run the halls until 2 am. Also, the thermostat would no reconcile so we had to shut the A/C unit off because it was so cold in our room. Breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel was so nice. The only bad thing is that someones kept running all night and till like 3am. Only had 1 elevator working. But otherwise it was real nice.

They put me in a room by the pool, I was traveling with my kids. By the pool they have a patio. People drinking and smoking until 230 am. The smell in my room was disgusting. Weed and cigarettes. Called the receptionist to complain, nothing was done. People fighting, laughing and being loud until 230am, no one could sleep. The fire alarm went off, fire department said everything was good but the bright lights never stop flashing. Horrible night Don’t recommend this hotel for anyone. Old facility, not updated. Horrible. Anabel at the front desk was very kind and sweet. Breakfast was awful too. Stay away.

Great place to stay!!
The staff at this property is top notch!! I was only supposed to stay 3 days but had to extend my stay an additional 4 days and all the staff I encountered was extraordinary. This is such a nice hotel, clean and quiet.

The property was conveniently located and the staff was very friendly, particularly the kitchen staff. Since we were there 9 days, breakfast was a bit boring and the eggs were overcooked.

Temperature in room was hard to gauge, but there was also a random cold front that came through which I’m sure is not common to the area. Other than that great staff and friendly environment.

Homewood Suites has never let me down. It’s always clean, nice staff and very comfortable beds!

Overall I give a 4. The hotel is nice and they now accept pets. I had a unfortunate experience Christmas morning. Apparently a man claiming he was from the corporate office was randomly calling rooms trying to get credit card info. Come to find out he got access to my room from the front desk. Unfortunately I gave my phone number and email address before realizing it was a scam. The first line of defense ( front desk) failed me. If someone’s randomly asking for access to room numbers and don’t know the name of the guests they shouldn’t be given access. This could have easily been someone elderly or too busy to catch on before giving credit card info. So disappointing I was very lucky though. Now I’m worried what they can do with the info I gave. Management really didn’t seem worried at all. The next day the other person at the front desk wasn’t even aware. None of the guests were notified/warned either. So disappointed! It’s not their financial life at stake I guess!

Great stay for a family of 5. Many hotels can not accommodate that extra person and only having rooms for 4. This hotel had a stocked kitchen, full fridge, and a livingroom to sit and relax. Our boys liked the basketball court.

Best room for travelers with kids !
Very clean and very nice property and rooms. We were very impressed and it was great having the separate room to be able to put the kids down and shut the door.

Pet fee too expensive
The hotel is described as pet friendly. A $75 fee for one night per pet seems excessive and unfriendly. Our room was large and the beds comfortable but hotel condition was somewhat worn and the air quality lacking.
