Steps to the LaFitte Greenway!

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Square (1.6 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.3 Miles), City Park (3.5 Miles), and Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.3 Miles).

Mornings along the Lafitte Greenway have their own quiet rhythm - grab a coffee and settle into the front porch of this classic Mid-City home, watching joggers and cyclists pass below the oak canopy while the rest of the city wakes up. Come evening, the fenced backyard draws you outside again, a private retreat after a day of exploring one of the most culturally rich neighborhoods in New Orleans. Steps from Tremé dining and a 10-minute walk to the Superdome, the location does the heavy lifting so you can focus on enjoying the city.

Living space
Inside, natural light moves easily through the open living area, where a 48-inch HDTV with standard cable, Roku, Netflix, and Hulu anchors the main gathering space. High-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace - set in its own room with a door - mean you can close out a few emails before switching to full vacation mode. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep things comfortable no matter what the season throws at you.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms each offer a queen bed dressed in professionally cleaned linens, with room-darkening shades ensuring a proper night's sleep. Smart TVs in every room let guests wind down on their own schedule. Clothing storage is well covered with walk-in closets, standard closets, and dressers throughout. Two full bathrooms - each with a bathtub - provide plenty of space for the whole group to move comfortably through the morning routine.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is set up for real cooking, not just reheating. A GE stainless steel electric stove, GE stainless steel single oven, GE refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer handle whatever you have in mind. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and a toaster are all on hand. Start the day with a drip coffee maker or French press, and pull up a seat at the dining table for a proper meal before heading out.

Outdoor living
The private patio and fully fenced backyard give the home a rare sense of outdoor breathing room for a city property. Whether it's a quiet morning coffee or an evening spent decompressing after a festival day, the backyard delivers. Free street parking right out front and self check-in via smart lock keep arrival simple.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with children? A pack 'n play with sheets provided and a folding high chair with padding, straps, and a food tray are both available upon request. Babysitter recommendations are on hand if you need a night out. An in-unit washer and dryer make extended stays with little ones far more manageable.

Mid-City sits at an easy crossroads of everything New Orleans does best. The Lafitte Greenway is right outside the door - a linear park and trail connecting neighborhoods across the city. Tremé's legendary dining scene is just steps away, and the French Quarter is minutes by foot or rideshare. The Superdome is a 10-minute walk, making this home a natural fit for Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve, the Sugar Bowl, and any major festival on the calendar.
