This property needs maintenance
I’ll start with the positives. This was a great location with easy access to French Quarter and public transportation. The layout of the apartment was also very good, two bedrooms with living area, kitchen and each bedroom had a private bath plus a half bath in living area. The room was not ready by the time we arrived. The cleaning staff was still cleaning when we arrived so we had to wait another 20 minutes in the hallway. Garbage was left in the trash can and no trash bags were left. Assuming they were rushing to finish and forgot. On the plus side, the floors and fixtures were very clean. However the property is in serious need of repairs. Laundry room door does not shut, bathroom cabinet doors are hanging, blinds in every room are broken and curtains don’t cover the windows fully. Curtis rod holders are coming out of the wall. Bed slats are broken. One of the bed comforters was put on with HUGE hole in it. The ironing board was in pieces. Not enough towels were left, zero toilet paper was left. The ceiling fans have dirt on the blades. The microwave surface light is out. We were finally able to reach someone to get towels and toilet paper but it’s not a quick response. The over all cost was reasonable when we split it up but still feel like we over paid based on our experience. I’m not in any hurry to book another Roami property.
