“Terrible experience with the customer service of Expedia / Hotels.com”

“Stunning property. Immaculate rooms and public areas. Didn’t dine here but menu looked amazing. Bar staff were knowledgeable and professional. Cocktails to die for. Will certainly be returning.”

“The Abbey Hotel was an amazing place to stay. Would highly recommend for anyone. Accessible for people with disabilities as well. Great reception staff. 10/10 would stay again.”

“Although we almost turned around upon walking down the block towards the guest house, I am glad we stayed there. Paul, the custodian, was charming and helpful, the facilities were adequate, and access to food make a simple breakfast was nice, but every room should have a fan. We appreciated the price, but will not stay there again.”

“Lo único negativo el recepcionista que era un borde. Lo demás genial!”

“Friendly staff, hotel clean throughout and lovely rooms. Ideal location for city centre and shopping. Close to parking making it easily accessible. Will definitely be returning”

“Bed and bedding comfy with 2 choices of pillows. Good hot water and pressure. Only draw back was the reverse cycle was not controllable due to not having a down button. Temp stays on 25 or you could put it up not down. Had a standing fan fan which we had on all night and heating off. Too cold for windows open. ”

“Decent on paper, disappointing in reality. The room looked fine in the photos but fell short in person. We were on the ground floor and arrived to a strong smell of cigarettes - the throw blanket had a burn hole in it, suggesting a previous guest had smoked despite the advertised £100 fine. There was pink staining on the shower floor and the only chair had a broken spindle on the back - when I went to move it, the top rail separated entirely from the remaining spindles and I had to pop it back...

“O unico problema que tive com o quarto foi o aquecimento, que não funcionava. O quarto não passava de 17 a 18 graus. De resto, foi tudo muito bom.”

“Muy lindo el hotel!! Me encantó! La zona es muy buena! ”

“Lovely place and rooms were great. Some of staff didn’t know how to check us in It’s a pub, and luckily we had booked for food… the pub was very food dominated and wouldn’t have felt comfortable just drinking… food was good and place lovely though”

“Ubicación cercana a la Universidad, un restaurante al lado, atentos, pero poco personal, y la limpieza de la habitación muy básica, no te cambian toallas y demás, es decir más estilo europeo que americano. Pero en general bastante aceptable!! Hay servicio de restaurante , bar y TV !!”

“Excelente ubicacion. Cuenta con estacionamiento, pero tambien hay varias opciones de estacionamientos muy cerca y económicas.”

“All good. Personnel really nice and kind”

“Bathroom smelled really really bad, like there were drainage problems and the fire alarm triggered in my room at 5:40 for no reason waking everyone in the block - pub is fantastic though!”
