Whether you want some quiet time to relax, or explore New Plymouth, this is the ideal spot for you. A delightful location, the property borders the coastal walkway which leads directly to the water's edge.
The Room offers open plan living with a queen bed, kitchenette, smart TV, and a sunny private deck.
Relax on the deck with a glass of wine, or take a stroll to Ngamotu beach. For those wanting to explore New Plymouth further, you are only a short stroll or taxi ride away from the numerous cafes & restaurants, the coastal walkway, the Len Lye Govett Brewster Art Gallery, Puke Ariki Museum, Pukekura Park, and some other great Taranaki Beaches.

Perfect place for couples
We had a great stay here. The property is very clean and comfortable, the owners go the extra mile by providing a few drinks and snacks, communication was very clear, and we felt we had privacy even though it's part of their home. It's in lovely location near the port, but still walking distance to town for dinner. Highly recommend and would stay again.

A short getaway.
Ideal location, close to the sea, waikways, cafes for during the day excursions.
For the evening, just a short drive or taxi into the main dining areas of NP.
Will certainly be back, highly recommended.

Property was perfect with all you could possibly want. Restaurants within walking distance. We loved Gusto and Manou’s was something else. Plenty to see in the area as well.

We enjoyed this accomodation. It was quiet, had a comfortable bed, was in a great location. Treats provided were appreciated. We found a number of places to eat and drink. Almost spoiled for choice. We enjoyed the street art and went to the 4th Street Theatre to view a show commemorating Galipoli. A great way to spend Easter and Anzac weekends.

Mark the owner was very pleasant and approachable. The BnB was beautiful, clean and they provided all that is needed, extra towels and daily breakfast. No washing machine, laudromat 3mins down the road

Fantastic place to stay
This property far exceeded our expectations.It is modern, clean & fresh with such a comfortable bed! Great location and access to the coastal walkway. Obvious the owners focus on the small things that make all the difference too such as providing cereal, yoghurt, bread and even an Easter Egg for us as we stayed Easter weekend! 🐣. Excellent communication.

Excellent accommodation and hosts. Mark and Jill were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed being close to the Coastal Walkway and the city. Lots to explore in New Plymouth and this was a great place for a base to do that.

Old timer concert goers
The property is perfect for a weekend away, close to local amenities, perfect for us, no cooking facilities which was a shame but lots of local restaurants close by, and muesli, fruit and yogurt provided and a warm fresh loaf of bread! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend couples to book

Peaceful Oasis
Tucked away on a quiet street we were delighted to find a comfortable and a well presented, light and airy place to relax in.
We were welcomed with fresh homemade bread set out ready on the breadboard and a well stocked fridge which was a nice surprise.

An Outstanding Homely Accommodation
We found Mark to be very pleasant and extremely helpful, although we never got the pleasure to meet Jill.
We were greeted by the smell of fresh home made bread which was delicious. The fridge was stocked with a number of treats which was very welcoming after a long drive.
We were supplied Muesli and Yogurt for the 3 day stay along with a lovely selection of drinks to chose from. We would definitely recommend this place as a great place to stay and we would stay there again if we returned to New Plymouth
