Our stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong address and incorrect room directions, creating immediate confusion. Once we finally accessed the room, we discovered we had been placed in a completely different room than what we booked, without any prior notice or explanation.
The original reservation was for two queen beds and a pullout couch. Instead, we were downgraded to one queen bed, one full bed, and two cots folded away in a closet. This was unacceptable and not what was advertised or paid for. When we contacted the host, it took multiple attempts just to get a response. We were told the room had been switched without notifying us, and they promised to replace the couch with a pullout sofa—this never happened.
The host was extremely unresponsive & unaccommodating throughout the stay. Even Expedia attempted to contact the host multiple times with no response. Due to the significant inconvenience, we requested a refund for the 1st night, which was more than reasonable given the circumstances.
Additionally, the key was very difficult to use, the air conditioning did not work, and there were no ceiling fans, making the room uncomfortable. The area felt unsafe, especially for women, & the listing does not accurately represent the type of neighborhood the property is located in.
Overall, this property was misrepresented, poorly managed, and lacked basic communication & accountability. We would not recommend staying here.
