Close to Palmyra and sacred historic sites

We loved our stay. Childrens especially loved the friendly dogs. What a beautiful part of the world!

Lovely location

Very clean, comfortable, quiet place. The beds were just right, and the view of the woods was relaxing and peaceful. Easy drive into Newark for restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend

Peaceful Country Home

We loved staying at this peaceful country home. We wish we would have had time to stay longer. The host was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this home!

Location Perfect For Us

3 adults and 2 Teens enjoyed this quiet country apartment, with no frills but met our needs. Family lives on property and was responsive and non intrusive. Close to eating and groceries and visiting historic sites. Would stay here again.

Great quiet getaway

We booked the property for a short stay to see some local historic sites. We arrived late on our first night and the hosts reached out to ask if they should get the hideabed ready, which we really appreciated. Nice, quiet stay. We would book again if in the area.

Wonderful peaceful apartment

We had a fabulous time. The apartment is two stories and very charming. Kitchen had the things we needed to make some meals. Air conditioners in the bedrooms upstairs kept things comfortable. Beautiful quilts and comfortable beds. Loved our stay.

Perfect setting in the country

We really enjoyed stay in this quiet, clean 2-story apartment with friendly hosts. We looked forward to coming back here every night after our activities of the day. Many amenities and comforts of home. God bless you, Arlyn & family!

Great option, comfortable stay

Host provided all the necessities in a very quiet, setting, convenient to Newark and Sodus. Check-in was smooth, dog and neighbors were friendly, and sleep was restful. We'll be back.

Great peaceful place to stay

We really enjoyed this location. On a dead end, quiet place. Owners are very friendly and available for any needs. We used the washing machine and kitchen. Everything worked well.

Wonderful Property

During our week long vacation we stayed at a different vacation rental each night. This was our favorite without a doubt. The property was very clean. The neighborhood was very quiet. The hosts were very kind and even helped us on our way with a small issue with our vehicle. If we visit Palmyra again we will be staying here.

Closest thing to being home. The sounds of the Birds, squirrels, crickets was amazing. Starlite nights as well.

Quiet and comfortable

The place was quiet and comfortable. Very countryside and out of the way. There was no TV. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.

Great Stay!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, quiet, and cozy. We had one tiny issue and I texted owner and they resolved it within minutes. Like others say no tv or WiFi but I knew that and not what we were looking for. Owners are very nice and sweet and we will be utilizing this place again in the future

Brief comfortable stay

Perfect stay!

This place was perfect for us! We were visiting family in Marion, and this was just a short drive away. The place was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, and the airconditioners in the bedrooms were much appreciated on these hot summer nights. There's no wi-fi or TV, but we didn't need it. Cell service worked just fine. The kids loved the chickens! The hosts are very friendly and non-intrusive, and they didn't mind at all that we had three little kids. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A little slice of heaven

Our week in Newark was heavenly, in large part to the calm and nature filled surrounding of the apartment. Very cozy. Our family slept well in the comfy beds. Plenty of clean, soft linens. We ate well thanks to Wegmans 5 minutes away, delicious Mennonite market Sauders, and the farm fresh eggs gifted by Rosene. What a treat! We even arrived to a snack basket after a long day of driving. We were so grateful. Our favorite features of the apartment included: the washer and easy air drying setup, the cozy interior with books and toys, the swing and inviting yard, the puppies, sheep and chickens, and excellent service and kindness from our hosts. We would stay again anytime we're in the area. Thank you to the Martin's.

Wonderful apartment. Very nice people.

We stayed three nights and used the kitchen to cook most of our food. It’s a comfortable, clean apartment. Nice large fridge. Oven and stove are nice and work great. Arlyn is in the water purification business so the unit has purified water including reverse osmosis water at the kitchen sink which we loved. They are a lovely family and we enjoyed their little puppy and kitten. We traveled around the area to sightsee and visit historical sites (Palmyra, Rochester, Geneva, Newark, Charlotte Genesee Lighthouse). There is no wifi or internet access. We used our cell phones as hotspots for our iPads which worked fine (one of us has Mint Mobile which uses T-Mobile network, the other uses Visible which uses Verizon network). This is such a beautiful area this time of year! Everyone seems to have large, beautifully manicured lawns, nice homes and corn fields everywhere! We loved it, especially coming from the hot dry desert of Nevada.
