My experience with Jay the property manager is really poor. This is not my first home rental experience but this has been my worst so far in terms of checkin process, communication and transparency.I was charged for replacing a whole new nightstand despite no evidence supporting claim that I stained the item. I didn’t stain the nightstand, I was charged for losing the TV remotes despite the cleaners not doing their job of fetching where the remotes is.I was charged a late checkout fee of which I explained to him prior to checking out which he agreed to. But then I had to wait almost an hour to checkin to the property. I’m not sure if this is a way he and the cleaner extorts customers but it feels like that to me. I won’t recommend this listing if you’re visiting Newark. Do
