“This was the perfect spot to stay at for a few nights and sight see! The beach was beautuful and the restaurants near by were great!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Big House! The house has plenty of room for our family of six and lots for the kids to do from playing dodgeball outside to warming up in the sauna. Our kids loved the short walk to the bay with a super fun playground. We also enjoyed walking to town (just a block away!) for dinner and ice cream. We visited Pictured Rocks, Sable Falls, and the Log Slide while in town. Grand Marais is a special place and we hope to visit again!”

“Pros: Cute and cozy for small group. Convenient location. Nice deck to sort and wash rocks. Cons: Cottage not cleaned from previous renter due to miscommunications on their end. But cleaner came and offered fee refund. Outdated furnishings and walk to beach longer than expected.”

“Property was nice. It was surface level clean. There was pretty severe obvious water damage in both bathrooms with visible mold. As a family that needs to be careful around mold, seeing this was disappointing. It was a comfortable house, dated, but comfortable. Lots of space for a family. Close to main attractions. One thing to note, there are close neighbors, so if you are looking for space/ seclusion, this house does have close neighbors you will hear their dogs/lawn mowers / leaf blowers....

“This was a good location for Grand Marias exploring. As I drove up I realized the pic from the Ad is the other side of the house, I walked around to make sure I was in the right place. It's older with alot of wood but cute decorations and pretty much everything we needed. It's small but functional. The the screened porch that is turned into a bedroom/living room is fine as long as you dont want alot of privacy, it's a partial wall, doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and door that does not...
