The property is located in the grounds of the owner’s property who provided us with a warm welcome and recommended places to eat and walk. The village is great and has pubs, bars and cafes a short walk away, we didn’t need to use the car all weekend. Would recommend”

“Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended.”

There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems). Warkworth has plenty of free parking, great pubs and restaurant options as well as being walking distance to the beach and other trail routes. The property and local pubs/restaurants are dog friendly. The accommodation and overal area are highly recommended.”

“Great location and views to die for. Parking a bit tight but lovely neighbours who were happy to move cars around. We used the property as a base to attend a wedding and extended our stay to visit Alnwick and Holy Island - Newbiggin is a little tired and rundown and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area.”

“This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly.”
