Unit was completely adequate for our purposes. A family gathering on Plum Island. We spent very little time physically in the unit. The inside stairs to the unit were very difficult for two of our party that required assistance walking. I'm sure the stairs would not meet current codes. The external stairs were quite icy when we arrived. Having that scrapped off would have been appreciated. The unit is definitely due for an update. Some lights did not work, the downstairs bedroom floor is in bad shape, the cabinet over the refrigerator is weird and was clearly not installed by a professional. But it was comfortable and met our needs.

We spent Christmas here and it was so special waking up to the sight of a beautiful sunrise over the water and snow on the sand. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and gadgets to cook a holiday meal. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and two children. Easy drive to the center of Newburyport with lots of great restaurants and shops but also several local stores and restaurants within walking distance. The parking lot across the street was an added bonus as we had three cars.

Great house on the beach

We just returned from Plum Island and loved this house. There’s a great sandy area in the back which was great for kids, and the beach is just over the dune. Beautiful ocean views from both of upstairs balcony and covered porch downstairs. Clean, ACs are working. Walking distance to cute restaurants and convenience store. Lots to do in the area. Pots and pans need a refresh, a little extra lighting bedside would be great. The main living room is upstairs for anyone with toddlers or those with mobility issues. Otherwise, a truly perfect place for a multigenerational family trip. We would 100% book again! Thanks, Taylor!

Had a great time on the beach with the family! Can’t beat the location of this place. Views of the beach were amazing and being close to downtown was perfect for visiting the local shops and restaurants! Plenty of open areas inside to hangout in on a rainy day. The back deck was great, being able to watch the kids on the beach or the sunrise. We would absolutely come back to this place!

Cozy cottage with views

Online description is on point. This is a roomie cottage that has views galore on a fantastic clean beach. Loved that within a 5 minute drive we had all the amenities in Newbury. The property is in need of some updates (as they clearly describe in their listing) but it was very clean and spacious. We would love to stay again.

A door step to paradise

We have so much fun! Playin on the beach watching the sunrise, sunset, looking for shells with kids. We had a wonderful time with family. Definitely will comeback:)

Plum Island Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this property over the week of Thanksgiving. The house has million dollar ocean views and is perfectly situated for walks on the beach and around the heart of Plum Island. The huge sectional sofa in the house is super comfortable for relaxing after days out, and the house’s kitchen was well-equipped with pons, pans, and cooking tools for making a full Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great stay and hope to come back soon!

Milford Gals Weekend

Loved that the property was right on the beach. We had a great view waking up in the morning from the upper and lower floors. Just beautiful! Loved the small touch of coffee and tea available in the morning as well. The only complaints were that one of the bedrooms had very poor lighting, no hot water available at one of the sinks in the master bathroom, there were several (3) light bulbs not working and overall the the kitchen was a bit dusty and grimy in some areas - like the lights above the bar and in cupboards that stored the pots and pans. Taylor the manager responded relatively quickly when we had questions or issues. That was definitely appreciated.

Upstairs roof leaked and wet the couch and floors and wood stove. Closets doors were off hinges upstairs. Many cracked tiles in kitchen floor. The view of the sun rising was the best you could ask for. Everything you need was stocked well for our stay. Parking was insufficient for a house that sleeps 13 people. Would I stay there again, absolutely. Quiet and very peaceful there.

Great for families; the house needs some renovations

We enjoyed the location. The views were amazing! The house was had a few quirks that were disappointing for the price. The slope of the kitchen floor, broken shower door, the red, heart-shaped tub that was unusable. 2 parking spaces for up to 13 people and broken floorboard in one of the bedrooms.

Beach and Convenience

We had a great stay. The property is as described. The maximum number of travelers was 9 and there were beds for all. We traveled with two (2) children under 4 years and we loved having the beach outside our door. We needed additional parking and we were able to rent two spaces from the owner of the parking lot across the street. The location is great and we were able to walk to restaurants/bait and tackle and convenience store! So helpful. Frankie replied to all my questions immediately. Thanks for a great time.

Fantastic location and view!

We had a wonderful 2 week family vacation! House is right on the beach and convenient to everything. House is very well stocked; the kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of chairs and beach towels.The views from the back deck are magnificent and we had “bevs and apps” out on the dune overlooking the water every evening! Frankie couldn’t be a better host! He promptly answered all our questions ; and managed to get us a new washing machine the very next day when the old one broke! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the purple house!

Amazing Family Vacation Spot
