The perfect ski trip

Living Waters

We loved our time at Living Waters. The house was comfortable and very spacious. The grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.

Hiking trip

Wonderful home with a super cool creek beside the house! Had a blast! Not too far from Banner Elk or Linville. So awesome to be able to bring our fur baby that loves going places with us.

Since we didn’t get the snow we hoped for, it was great to be so close to so many other things to do. Loved hearing the river! Very relaxing!

Family weekend in Newland

Older home, but worked great for what we needed. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Expected pull out bed(s) in living room but blow up mattress was available.

Great.

Needs updated period The fan in the middle on the ceiling did not work. Is very Is warm with just two air conditioners in the back bedrooms. So I did like it it was pet friendly. The creek outside was just amazing.

Quaint country house in the woods

The house was pretty and well stocked but the fuel was out so we didn’t have heat the first night. We used the supplemental electric heaters. Couldn’t get the tv and wifi figured out at first- better instructions would have helped. Beautiful location but incredibly hard to find in the dark. Plenty of space and comfy accents like blankets. Manager responded pretty quickly.

Private quiet getaway close to town

The home is roomy. The beds were comfortable and the view is very peaceful. We never were able to use any internet. Also there is no cable, antenna, or satellite service so you have to watch DVD's. We went to the library in town and checked out DVD's to watch. The river is easy to wade and deep enough to to use tubes. I brought a minnow trap and caught bait that we used to catch trout and rock bass. The only issue we had was there were tissues and chip crumbs in the couch and loveseat under the cushions. Would stay again and will be better prepared next time.

Great property overall

Went with a group of 6 for a golf weekend - the property was as advertised, very clean and spacious. We cooked all of our meals there and all of the supplies needed were available. Driveway can be tricky but that is to be expected in the mountains. One word of caution and the only reason I did not give 5 stars - under the current setup no TV is available. There is no satellite, no cable and no working internet to pick up streaming services. This may not be important to some but it was important to us as there were sporting events we had planned to watch.

Comfortable and spacious house

We love everything about this house! Terrific kitchen, spacious living areas, four bedrooms, three full baths. Only challenges are spotty WiFi and steep driveway.

It was a wonderful place, very clean and everything you need was in the kitchen...supplied very well. The temperatures were wonderful and the fireplace was a great place to hangout.

House was clean and exactly as described online. The only minor flaw was that the wifi was spotty at times. It was not a big deal as the purpose of the vacation was to disconnect.

Great place

We went up because we were getting married in Banner Elk. It was the perfect location and size for what we needed. They had everything we needed plus some. The host was easy to contact at all times. The house was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend!!
