Secluded Cabin On Peaceful 100+ Acres with hot tub!

  • Cabaña aislada (sin WiFi) ubicada entre los picos de la montaña Doublehead a una altura de 4000 pies con vista a nuestro estanque privado de 2 acres. Ubicado en High Country de Carolina del Norte y rodeado de más de 100 acres de terreno privado, perfecto para los amantes de la naturaleza y la observación de aves. Hay varias millas de rutas de senderismo en toda la propiedad que son perfectas para explorar. Los avistamientos de vida silvestre incluyen el oso negro, el venado cola blanca, el pavo salvaje y muchas especies de aves, incluidos los gansos canadienses. Después de caminar y explorar, encienda un fuego en la hoguera o súbase a la bañera de hidromasaje para relajarse. Disfrute de una relajación tranquila, pero esté a 30 millas de una miríada de atracciones del área que incluyen Grandfather Mountain, Mount Mitchell, Roan Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls & Gorge. We loved our stay and the property was perfect. Beautiful, secluded, private, lots of space to roam. The host was extremely responsive and the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Perfect place for some much needed R&R. Our dogs loved their freedom and room to roam. Highly recommend for time to relax and enjoy nature. We hope to stay here again soon!

We enjoyed our brief family stay at the peaceful quiet cabin, the kids enjoyed exploring the grounds and the pups enjoyed the space to run.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the peace and quite. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning and got to see deer, rabbit, humming birds and a wild turkey. It had all the comforts of home including a charcoal grill that we used. I was happy to disconnect from wi-fi a few days and just enjoy the outdoors. The stocked pond was just a short walk and we caught a couple fish. Our 2 dogs loved the big yard to run around and play, I would definitely go back again.

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation spot if you want to get away, unplug and not be disturbed. It is not an ideal spot if you have a car because the drive way up is steep, rocky and trench laden...maybe a few photos of that part of the trip would be helpful to prospective travelers. But Jim tells about that once you're on your way. My hubby abd I would definetly return because it was exactly the tranquility that and sensory unwind that we were hoping for and needed.

The cabin is as it states. The road up is a 4 wheel drive rd as they state. Hot tub was perfect. Everything worked and lots of kitchen pots, pans, dishes etc. pond is so pleasant and know that there are other properties all over the place tucked in. Really enjoyed our rustic stay.

We did not read the full listing properly before booking and inquired about a WiFi password. There was none. We were pleasantly surprised because it allowed for us to check-out from the outside world and day to day distractions. We loved rocking in the chairs on the front porch while watching birds and other wildlife. The hot tub was the perfect addition to ensure our entire stay was relaxing. We walked the grounds and found several sites to see between pods, nature trails, a fire pit and more. This is a perfect place to book a quiet getaway for anyone of all ages.

Peaceful solitude while soaking in the Hot tub and watching birds and white tail deer.. Be sure to check out downtown Elk Park shops iOn Main.

Great Cabin

We had a great time at the cabin, awesome location and is a very private getaway. Close to the ski resorts and Linville gorge area.

My family and I recently stayed for a short time here and the cabin was perfect & peaceful. We were looking for a getaway for serenity and this checked all the boxes. Especially loved the theme throughout the cabin. I would definitely recommend to our family and friends. Thanks for having us!

The road to get to the cabin, I would definitely recommend 4x4. The house was very spacious and the pond was nice. I love how the hot tub is apart of the front porch, so you just step into it vs having to step over it. It was worth the 4:30 drive

Mountain retreat

Great place to relax, very quiet and private. Drive up is a little challenging but we had no trouble. I have stayed there several times over the past few years. Close to Linville and Grandfather Mountain.

Perfect mountain getaway

Beautiful and peaceful location with cozy accommodations. Thoroughly enjoyed both the location in one of the most tranquil spots you will find east of the Mississippi. I rarely get a chance to getaway and cannot think of a better place to have been to enjoy that time. Great proximity to Banner Elk and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Relaxing retreat

Peaceful little cabin in a remote location to relax. No worries the cabin has everything you need from beautiful views to a quaint cabin with all the amenities you need.
