“Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”

“We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. Views over to Blencathra were stunning and offered us an ideal spot to just chill out especially after some walking in the hills.Difficult to tear yourself away but will definitely return.”

“Beautifully situated house in a beautiful area! Equipped with all conveniences. We were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space/garden next to and behind the house.Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Lake District.The partly unpaved road to the house is fabulous but bumpy. Despite doable, even with a lower car, so don't let that put you off!We loved our stay and are inspired by the nature in this beautiful area. Lots of walking paths It was more than worth the trip from the Netherlands.”

“Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up.”

“We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. ”
