Me encanto la suite muy cómoda y muy linda lo único que no me gusto fue que trate de cambiar HBO a español las películas pero cuando las ponía en español ya no nos dejaba regresar y quedaba en las opciones de idioma aunque el idioma en español esté disponible no nos permito cambiarla

Dirty Hotel
It was not a good experience at all. First, there were no carts for us to take our bags to the 10th floor. Second the rooms door never opened. So reception sent a man to come and try to open with his keys but the door was stuck. So they reassigned us a new room, 4th or 5th floor I believe. By now it was passed midnight. We get to our room exhausted hoping to rest from a long trip. And after unpacking we open the two beds and find a nasty fake eye lash stuck on the edge of one of the sheets. So disgusting! We called reception and there were no managers available to talk to. The next morning we went downstairs to leave the hotel, cancel the next night, and speak to a manager. The woman manager apologized for what happened, and told us she will take care of that night for us, and will cancel the next night for us. She said we will get a refund in 5 to 7 business days, but now it’s been 13 days, and I have no refund, and every time I call no one takes responsibility. It’s so frustrating, and it’s such a shame such a beautiful hotel can have such bad service!!

Our trip was a last minute family emergency so I quickly chose a hotel we had stayed at before even though our last stay was less than great. This time the beds were much better but the rooms at Renaissance are just okay. Uncomfortable furniture and thoughtlessly appointed bathrooms. Bad coffee. Plus the WiFi is terrible unless you spend another $15 for a better connection. Parking is expensive too. Self parking is $43 a night and valet is $48. We were charged for a night of valet parking even though we self parked the entire time we were there. So, make sure you double check your bill when you check out! The other thing that I found less than welcoming was the fact that I couldn’t talk to a real person about our reservation without going through a tedious automated system that took several minutes to finally connect me to a live person. All I wanted to do was confirm our reservation and let them know that we were unavoidably delayed. I had to call twice because I got disconnected and was put through Marriott Bonvoy’s corporate machine both times. When you’ve been traveling, especially because you are dealing with a traumatic family emergency, and your accommodations make tiny things inconvenient… just, no. We won’t choose to stay at The Renaissance again.

There were kids running down the hallway on the 8th floor banging on doors to wake people up. The bar service was not great on Saturday night. The bartenders served us a drink in a dirty glass and did not seem all too bothered by it. The glass was filthy, and it was odd the bartender did not notice when she poured a rather expensive drink, It was very strange service for that level of a hotel.

Internet for free doesn't works .They changed from my card twise time almost $50 for 1 day and $48 per parking lot .This hotel present good rpice but then changed for anything and total is different then presentation. I am not satisfied this management strategies.

Nice lobby and heated pool. Good lobby design. Don't like the ridiculous price og $43 per night to park there! Plus have to walk a ways by exterior to get into hotel.

The staff & convenience to visiting friends & family were the best aspects of the hotel. Especially the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff (Ricardo the valet stands out). When a friend was waiting for me in the lobby, someone even offered her a cold bottle of water! My one suggestion is that the bed in my room (319) needs to be replaced. It has a big divot that ended up causing me back aches. I will be staying here for subsequent stays in SoCal & have already posted that on my (450 member) Facebook page. Thank you

Staff is amazing, very friendly. Front desk took great care of me at check in, server at breakfast treated me like an old friend and Blake (shuttle driver) took great care when taking me to the airport. GM should be very proud of the team.

The walls are thin we could here the door slamming from the other rooms and kids running around in the room next to us. The alarm went off on floor/room at 3am and kept going off every 20 mins or so until we called the reception to turn it off. Got very little sleep.

Enjoyed my STAY!
It was wonderful. I was there on business and the meeting was actually at the hotel. Everything was superb! The days were long and the hotel beautiful, the amenities were exceptional. The workout room, the lounge and tv area. The snack store. The beds were great.

The bed was very uncomfortable. So were the pillows so I had a terrible night's sleep. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel.

Second time we've stayed at this property. It's our a go to hotel at the Newport Beach area. Parking is a bit expensive.
