“This was our third year at this property. We are always sublimely satisfied. The best is the feeling of privacy being on surrounded by water on 3 sides. We like the simplicity of the decor and the lack of a TV. We also like that certain basic food stuffs are left (like salt and pepper) in case we forgot them. It's perfect. ”

“My husband and I stayed four nights at Leah’s place. She and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very, very nice people. :) Great location if you want something quiet with beautiful view over the mountain. it’s very close to Island Pond and also to Silvio Conte wildlife refuge. If we go back to Vermont, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much, Leah. We had a wonderful time! ”

“We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!! ”

“Absolutely perfect relaxing lakefront house in every way! The bed was very comfortable, the relaxation areas were great, the fan really helped cool things off and the windows brought in just enough cool mountain air and the sound of the loons! The kitchen was also ideal. The location was spectacular, the views and the sunsets were not to be missed and an easy 10 minute drive into town with a good selection of restaurants and markets. “Perfect accommodations for us. We were three couples there to attend a wedding at the top of Jay. Condo was walking distance (with shortcuts) to the main lodge, very quiet, comfortable beds for everyone, well equipped kitchen, and plenty of room. Skiiers would especially love it right on the trail. I would not hesitate to rent this again if I were in the area.”

Everything you need for cooking they have! The game room was the best part! So many games and tons of board games to do a family game night! Our dog loved being able to just sunbath on the porch and there is a gate so your fur baby is safe and can’t escape! I highly recommend this place! We can’t wait to go back! ”
