Yearly Vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much! My kids loved the house! And the porch was my daughter’s favorite place! My husband enjoyed fishing on the dock with our kids! It was a wonderful stay and the neighbors were very friendly!

Wonderful!!

My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a relaxing, quiet, long weekend at Under the Sea. The accommodations were just as listed! We had everything we needed and more. Property was clean inside and out, located in a neighborhood that suit us perfectly! So much attention to detail! Great communication with the hosts! Highly recommend!!

Great weekend getaway

arrived on Friday night in the dark had a little difficulty finding the VRBO but was able to contact the owner and she responded quickly and was very helpful. Accommodations were nice and clean with lots of nice personal touches. would definitely recommend staying at this VRBO.

Just a little get away.

Our family was extremely pleased with the property. There literally wasnt one thing the home owners hadnt thought of. The place was spotless and extremely well stocked. The neighborhood is wonderful! Absolutely will be booking here again.

Adorable Beach Cottage

Extremely wextremely well appointed kitchen, super cute decor. The location is great, It's close to Newbern, Morehead city and the beaches. Carmen responded super fast to any inquiries and the beds were super comfy. The neighbors were super too!! We definitely would stay here again were were super comfortable

Nice place that is close driving to beach.

This is a great place to stay. Owners are great people and the property is in good shape. Neighbors are very nice. Owner has thought of and offers almost everything you might have forgotten at home for your beach vacation.

Outstanding!

First of all, this home is super cute, and I loved the creative nautical touches. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. The kitchen was spacious and well appointed for those nights we wanted to cook in and relax. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy, and the shower head in the master bath was amazing. We also really appreciated having a washer and dryer to keep up with laundry while we were there. The layout of the home was also perfect for having our grandson stay overnight on the weekend. We liked that his room was at the other end of the house and had its own bathroom. Of course, our favorite thing of all was the porch, which was such a great place to hang out. It had everything we needed to host our daughter and family for a Memorial Day cookout. Carmen is an excellent host and was patient with us, even when we arrived late at night and called her (and probably woke her up) because we had trouble initially finding the lockbox with the keys because it was dark. Thank you, Carmen! We really enjoyed our stay.

Best stay ever

I knew on the way down when the owner xalled to check on us due to severe weather in the area tgat this was going to be the best stay. We stayed fir the airshow and some sightseeing and will be back!! The owner has thought of everything EVERYTHING!!! My dad even said at one point I need (something) I know she has to have it here she has everything!!! And guess what, whatever it was she did have!! The neighbors were wonderful and are part of the reason we want to come back for longer just to chat. I would recommend this place to everyone we know it was perfection!!

Girl's Trip

It is clean and everything functional. We couldn't figure out the wheels for the kayak. Games/toys not quite as nice as described. Overall it served us well. My granddaughter was thrilled to discover the mini waffle maker and it worked great. For me, there were way too many pillows in the master.I had trouble finding a place for all of them.

Fantastic get a way!!!

Property was in a perfect location! Ms. Carmen had it all, if you forgot she had it! Love the dog friendliness of the home and the neighborhood. Teen kids had a great time fishing and playing in the neighborhood park.

Perfect Getaway!

Carmen is hands down the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with! She did everything she could to make our weekend perfect for us. The house is absolutely AMAZING! My kids begged us to stay for longer, and said their beds were the comfiest ever 😂 The kayak was the greatest addition, we spent hours on the sound and even got to outrun a rainstorm in the kayak. We can’t say enough great things about this place, and it’s amazing owner. I would give 1,000 stars if I could. Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us Carmen!

Carmen is a super host

The place was extremely clean and had everything you could ever need for a stay at the beach with some friends. The showers and kitchen were fantastic with everything supplied and super clean. Carmen was very accommodating and made sure we were set up to have a wonderful experience, thanks Carmen! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Getaway

Great house - loved the way it was decorated. Great colors and beach theme made me instantly say " ahhhhh" and relax. Super clean. Everything is new or updated. The porch was a fav. So nice!!! Loved watching the birds come to the feeders. Wonderful flowers around the place. As others have said - they added some extras that just made it "above and beyond". Tea/coffee supplies like I have never seen. Qtips. Lotion. Top of the line shampoo (ps..whats the name of them cause my daughter is in love and we didnt take note of the brand lol). Due to quick visit and a few lightening filled clouds when we had time, we never got to jump on the kayak. Next time ! The area looks just beautiful to paddle in. Highly recommend this rental. Owner is super sweet and helpful. We rent a lot and never has the interaction been so good. A++ ( former teacher lol had to grade lol)

This place was the best! You can tell that the hosts really care about you and your families comfort and needs. Especially the fur babies❤️ Carmen had water and food dishes already set out for our elderly dog Buddy. Everything we could have needed was already there. All we needed to do was buy the groceries we needed but best believe…every condiment, coffee and creamer, soap and shampoo, pots and pans, all the way down to the laundry detergent…it was already there waiting on us. The neighborhood and neighbors across the street were a delight. They even invited us over for a nice porch sit and cool drink on a hot day. One of them even took us for a ride in her golf cart down to the pier so our son and her grandson could catch shrimp and go crabbing together. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay or people to stay around. We were very comfortable and anytime I needed anything, all I had to do was let the host know. 5 stars all around from this family for making us feel like we were part of yours❤️

Fish Camp Stay

We had a great experience with our accommodations and property. It was everything we was told it was and met our expectations 100%. Weather made the bow fishing challenging but the location allowed us to move around quickly. We will definitely use this property again , if we return .

Nice long weekend!

We had a great stay here. Everything was nice and clean and we had plenty for the grandkids to enjoy although dodging rain drops. We wound up staying an extra night and Carmen made it effortless. Thanks again Carmen.

Beach Getaway

This was our second time staying at this property. The house is amazing and provided with so much! It is in a convenient location, not far from the beach or stores. It truly feels like a home and not a rental property. We would love to come back again!
