Only a couple of moans, there was no welcome pack to say what time the pub was open etc, no paperwork for the tv and we weren't told there is wifi, when bookings it said no wifi! Some of the plastic utensils were so bendy they couldn't really do their job properly ie potato masher and serving spoons!! Apart from that everything was great.”

“Had a great time in Oct half-term break here. Daughter walked to surf course at Fistral Beach, everything else a short walk out of the door. No parking, but the nearby long term parking car park was cheap and easy. Oh, and Sainsbury's literally opposite!”

“A truly lovely stay in a very well equipped property. The owners have really thought about everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. We had 4 wonderfully relaxed days in this great location with easy access to various beaches and locations. A great find and we will definitely return.”

Only drawback was a lack of an allocated parking spot (plenty of public/paid parking space was available on the rear side of the apartment complex, which was easily accessible)”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Wheal Honey. Tikembret is a collection of beautiful holiday cottages and in our (humble) opinion Wheal Honey is the jewel in the crown. A most beautifully converted barn. We turned into the courtyard and was impressed by the imposing Wheal Honey standing tall amongst the other properties. Open the door and we were greeted by a gorgeously decorated interior over two floors which is testament to the craftsmen involved in creating it. From the superb well equipped...

“Just returned from a family holiday, an amazing cottage and location. A great base for discovering the wonders of Cornwall, an easy drive to St Ives, Penzance and Bude to name a few. Everything you need for a holiday is available within the cottage, very very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Look forward to returning Thanks Jo & Family”

“We had a lovely stay at Oms place. The house is a great size, actually a lot bigger than we expected. Bedrooms spacious and the living area was ideal for 2 families. The house was lovely and clean and welcoming. Facilities on site are good, only missing a shop, nearest shop is a short drive away. Kids enjoyed the pool and the park, outside pool was not yet open but can imagine in summer would be a real winner. Thanks, would not hesitate to book again!”

“Es ist ein ganz phantastisches Cottage, klein aber fein! Alles da was man braucht, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Kontakt zum Vermieter war immer nett. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön, der nächste Strand ist zu Fuß in etwa 30 min erreichbar. Allein der Weg dorthin ist schon traumhaft! Unser kleiner Hund war auch willkommen und hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir kommen gerne wieder ☺️”

“Unmatched views of the beach and coast. Brilliant body boarding beach within 5min walk. Tolcarne Beach resort a hidden gem - great restaurant, great cafe, great beach - within 5min walk. Fantastic pizza restaurant Secret Garden within 3min walk. Aldi and Asda within 5min walk. Wet suit drying room with board locker very useful.”

“Ian was very helpful given Vrbo platform comms was awful (App may be better). Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too. Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay.”
