“I and 3 friends staying there in Oct, from the very start the welcome was v positive. My 3 American friends enjoyed an evening meal and all us enjoyed a drink later on. The barman / night porter was most engaging and good fun. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with great variety. The hotel is out of town and was very quiet. In fact I m returning again this week.”

“Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue.
