  • Inchlonaig House is a beautifully decorated contemporary holiday cottage located in the picturesque coastal village of Port William, South West Scotland.
    Ideal for families and large groups, the spacious 4/5 bedroom (One bunk bed room is interconnected with the main bedroom) detached self catering holiday cottage is set in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, and sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children in perfect luxury.
    Inchlonaig House provides the perfect location for a relaxing self catering holiday in one of the most peaceful and tranquil areas in Scotland or an excellent base from which to explore South West Scotland.

Beautiful Place

We had the best May bank holiday weekend at Inchlonaig house. Brilliant location, easy access to the fabulous beach across the road. The house is beautifully modern with everything you could ever need. Sarah was very helpful with any questions and instructions. Highly recommend a stay there. Recommend eating at The View

Lovely week at Inchlonaig House

Inchlonaig House proved a great base for a week in Galloway. Spacious and comfortable, the house was well equipped and in a good position with views of the sea. Sarah’s pre-arrival instructions were comprehensive and helpful and we didn’t need to contact her during our stay. Sunny weather for most of the week made for a most enjoyable holiday!

Much needed break!

We had a lovely, relaxing break at Inchlonaig. It’s a beautiful house in a quiet and relaxing location and fully equipped with all you need. A great base to explore Galloway. We had some lovely weather and the location of the house so near to the sea was just lovely. We would definitely stay here again should we visit this area in the future!

Another Fabulous Stay!

This was our second time staying at Inchlonaig House. We are a 3 generational family party and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Inchlonaig is a very clean, comfortable, spacious, warm and well equipped house. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and using it as a base to explore Galloway. A well maintained house in a lovely position on the outskirts of Portwilliam. Everything in the house was high quality and spotlessly clean. Sarah was very helpful and allowed our dogs to stay with us - they had a great time on the beach!

Yet again an excellent family holiday, despite the gales. The house is large enough to accommodate the whole family comfortably. A lovely quiet location but within easy reach of activities for both children and adults. This was our third stay we hope to return. Many thanks Sarah.

Fabulous views

A very welcoming house, spotless and comfortable. Beautifully laid out for family living. With the beach a stones throw away the views really were breath taking. Not anything to do in the town itself but great base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

Another lovely stay at Inchlonaig House

This was our 4th stay at Inchlonaig House, the first being 10 years ago. The house is very well located for family that we have in the area and equally well positioned for visits to the Galloway Park and the Mull of Galloway. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable and Sarah is a very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Perfect

We have just spent a week at Inchlonaig and can honestly say it is the best house we have stayed in. Everything was perfect. Sarah has thought of everything. You do have to travel to get to places to eat, however there is a Spar in Port William which provides the essentials. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip.

We stayed here for a long weekend with our whole family (7 adults 3 kids) and we couldn't believe how lucky we were to be staying in such a beautiful house in an equally beautiful location. Sarah was absolutely amazing and so helpful, the book with all the house and local information was brilliant. I would (and already have!) recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place for the family to gather, right on the beach, perfection. Thank you for having us! We will absolutely be booking in again.

Fantastic and spacious property. Very well equipped, lovely house in an ideal location to explore the Western half of Dumfries and Galloway. Beach seconds away. Walks on the doorstep and nearby. Will definitely be looking to return at some point in the near future

Highly Recommended

Large modern property with four good sized bedrooms. This property has everything you could possibly need and was spotless. The surrounding area has numerous beautiful beaches. The host was extremely accommodating and thoughtfull. Second stay here and we will be back. Dog is depressed now that home!!
