  • Hop over to The Lily Pad for a perfect weekend getaway in Niagara-on-the-Lake - the location is one of THE BEST! This is a picture perfect place to relax. Our home is situated on a quiet street, lined with beautiful historic homes. The Queen's Royal Park (the infamous gazebo) right on Lake Ontario is less than a block away and the bustling Queen Street is also one block away. A short walk or bike ride takes you to your choice of local wineries, breweries, restaurants, shops, and other sites and attractions. Please ask us for additional information or recommendations!

    Built in 1930, the home has been in the family for over 60 years (4 generations). With a fire place in the spacious living room, it is a charming and cozy home for couples, families and friends. All beds are fitted with luxurious linens and bedding, and towels are supplied to listed guests. Our bathroom was newly renovated in 2026, new windows installed in 2025, and exterior redone in 2025 as well. The AC and furnace are also brand new as of 2026 as well.

    Cozy up with a complimentary cup of coffee or glass of wine on the back patio overlooking the luscious garden or on the front deck overlooking the lake before heading out on a bike (also complimentary!) to tour the town. Additionally, a new propane fire table is available for guests use on the back patio with comfortable cushioned seating.

A wonderful stay at The Lily Pad! We absolutely loved our stay at The Lily Pad. The cottage is charming, comfortable and full of character, with a fantastic location just a short walk from Old Town, restaurants, shops and the lake. We especially enjoyed the peaceful garden and outdoor space, as well as having a full kitchen and comfortable living area to relax in. The complimentary bottle of local wine was also such a thoughtful touch. The hosts were wonderful and extremely responsive to messages throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The Lily Pad was the perfect place for a relaxing Niagara-on-the-Lake getaway, and we would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

Cute little place that is perfectly situated to see all that Niagara on the lake has to offer. Would absolutely recommend this for two couples visiting or a family looking to explore for one day or a long weekend. The host were extremely good communicators and check in and check out with smooth. If we are ever back in the area, we’ll actually stay here again. Thanks for everything.

My four girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights during a girls’ getaway to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was absolutely perfect, with a walking distance to the main strip. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It had plenty of space for our group, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived.We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake. Location was PERFECT! Two blocks from the center of town, two blocks from the lake, close to the park. About 15 minute drive to the Falls. So many wineries and orchards within a quick drive. Check in was super easy, clean instructions for check in/check out. Loved that there are bikes available for use. Sleeping arrangements are tight and bathroom is super tiny, but very nicely updated. Having a coffee maker with coffee pods was a bonus. Would come back here again if we’re ever back in the area!

Niagara on the Lake has hundreds of short term rentals, bed and breakfasts, and hundreds of hotel rooms, ……and a thousand more in nearby Niagara Falls,…..but the Lilly Pad is our go to home away from home! Clean, cozy. great amenities, and just a one minute walk to the quaint shops of Queen Street in the Historic District. Just a one minute walk to the Lake and a vast number of streets filled with large gorgeous historic homes, and military forts of the early 1800s, making great walking opportunities, while enjoying the gardens and the architecture of historic Canada.

The Lily Pad is steps away from shops, restaurants, waterfront, and theatre. The house is comfortable and has everything you could need for your visit. Unfortunately, the timing of our visit didn't allow us a chance to enjoy the garden area. The hosts responded quickly to any questions. A great spot!

The location is excellent for walking access to downtown NOTL and Shaw festival. This is a very small home with lovely outdoor seating. Anyone over 5'-10" needs to sit sideways on the toilet. The second bedroom barely fits a double bed. The beds were very uncomfortable and old linens. There was also an odor of cat urine which was stronger in the main bedroom. We expected more for an expensive rental.

We had a wonderful stay at the lily pad property in Niagara-on-the-Lake! The house was quaint, very clean, and had great amenities for our group of four ladies. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and worked perfectly for our group, allowing everyone to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The location was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We especially loved spending time around the fire table in the evenings. The hosts were very responsive and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. We would definitely return if we visit Niagara-on-the-Lake again!
