“Talbot House is an experience. The common areas (living room, dining room) invite exploration, The English garden is quite beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. The bedrooms are attractive and comfortable, each equipped with a sink. There is one bathroom per floor and it is shared by all staying on that floor.”

“Lovely hotel in the centre of Ypres, close enough to the Menin Gate to hear The Last Post if you leave the window open. Staff are great, really helpful and the breakfast is awesome. Bonus points for the bed being big enough to play tennis on. This was our second visit and we're due back there at the end of this week.”

“Personnel is really good and willing to deliver a great service. The problem is the hotel itself. It was and old hospital. It’s kind of creepy when you walk through the aisles and see the floor with the yellow lines, the doors, floors, walls and toilettes of a hospital or nursing home”
