“Excellent hotel! Spending eight days there was my best decision! Nice countryside, kind attentions in the hotel, good breakfast, and very clean and comfortable! And just 20 minutes from Groningen city centre by bus, the bus stop is pretty close to the hotel you can go walking, also you can visit Aduard Village, which is very nice as well. And the most important if you don't speak Dutch is that people in the hotel can speak to you in English very well!”

“The room was advertised at Hotels.com as having a separate living room. It wasn't the case. It was a very nice room, with a bathtub and a nice shower. But the views were literally a mall (people from a nearby shop could see you), and a dock for loading/unloading trucks. Which made it very noisy in the mornings. Also, none of the usual amenities of a hotel that expensive: minibar, room service, etc. Nowadays, seems like a hotel room can be considered luxurious just by having Rituals...

“At first, we were taken aback at the un-staffed hospitality concept but we got used to this after we checked in and found it an innovative option. “Wat een super leuk hotel is dit zeg. De afgelopen periode hebben ze veel verbouwd (wist iemand van het hotel mij te vertellen) De kamers zijn heel netjes. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. “Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Wasserstraße und man kann 24h den Bootsverkehr von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Im Bad fehlte eine Steckdose für den Rasierer. Frühstück war reichhaltig und Abendessen sehr gut. Personal ist freundlich und sehr bemüht. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung für andere Gäste !”
