While the house was clean, The pool was dirty. I can send photos. The filtration system is clearly broken as the wires were hanging out of the box.
The door code sent was incorrect and necessitated a phone call in order to actually get in. The door code would not work this morning at 10am when we did not have to be out until 11am. While a representative is not needed in person upon arrival, a follow up welcoming call or text message should have definitely happened but did not.
The air conditioner in the master bedroom did not work and when it was reported we did not hear anything back from them.
The kitchen is not set up for any actual cooking as it lacked so many utensils and cookware. Not to mention that the dishes needed to be washed before use because they are all sitting out on the dining room table making it impossible to actually use the table to eat at. There is no cabinet storage. To only have glass cups and plates makes no sense when you have a swimming pool.
The beds were very uncomfortable. There are no television sets in two of the three bedrooms. The third bathroom is incredibly small and none of the bathrooms have adequate shelf space to put toiletries or ventilation so that you are not sweating after taking a shower. The dryer smelled like burning trash.
I have come to Aruba five times in the past six years and have had phenomenal experiences. I will not plan to stay or recommend anyone to stay in any of the Casiola properties.
