“We enjoyed our stay at this early 1900’s era home. Our children enjoyed exploring all the nooks and closets playing with all the toys they brought while us adults enjoyed great conversation by the fire and playing games in the dining room. It was quite chilly during our stay (average temps below zero the entire time) but the house was quite comfortable with plenty of extra blankets if one wanted. We used the hot tub a few shorts times due to the temps but was a nice retreat to get some fresh...

“I stayed at Big Rock Creek with my two young daughters after a day kayaking on the river. It was so nice to have a campsite waiting for us after paddling all day. I loved everything about the campsite. It had comfortable beds, electricity, a grill and a clean toilet and shower just steps away. This is camping at its best! I did have difficulty reaching staff when we had an issue with the grill, but I would stay here again. The beds were so comfortable! ”

“We had a great stay! Location was wonderful for exploring town and the state park. Much of what we needed was within walking distance, with more restaurants, groceries, etc just a short drive across the river in Wisconsin. The apartment was recently updated and had everything we needed for a weekend family getaway. Would stay again. ”
