“This was, without question, the worst 5-star hotel I have ever stayed in. I have travelled extensively across Europe, the Americas, and Asia for both work and leisure, and this experience fell far below any reasonable 5-star standard especially disappointing as it was our honeymoon.
From the start, the experience was disorganised. We had emailed the hotel in advance with our arrival time, yet upon arrival we were informed we were booked on a later boat, creating immediate confusion and stress....
“The Resort is 3 Star NOT 4 Star. The Resort is run down and dated. The rooms are also very dated and dirty. The bathroom was dirty, the floor was covered in previous occupants debris with food droppings and other things. The windows were covered with dirt and hadn't been cleaned for months. The Resort won't clean the room unless you insist and all they do is empty the rubbish bin and change the towels. The towels though were stained.
