“The house is beautiful, it’s a great experience, the breakfast and the after tour. But there is a BIG BUT…we stay in the siege room because we didn’t want to spend that much because we were arriving late, and it’s was just a night and we were planning to wake up early ande leave because we had a long drive home, so that said… I would definitely stay here again but I would never book the siege room…you don’t have privacy, you enter the room through the kitchen so you feel a little bit awkward,...

Not having someone there, other than the lady who came in to cook and serve breakfast, was somewhat of a negative, as we would have liked to ask questions, especially in the evenings, about places to eat and things to do. Also, a bathtub/shower, with no really hard-mounted grab bars, is not really good for seniors”

“The breakfast was absolutley delicious and beautifully prepared! We had bloody Mary's and Mimos too...all included in our stay. We stayed in the red and white gingham cottage which we loved because it stood seperate on it's own. The window unit AC kept the room very comfortable. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The cottage was small but very comfortable, except for Bathroom standup shower was a little too small for my 6'6 husband...but all good. We couldn't have had a better...

“I was in Vicksburg for a week, on business. The year before, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of town. This time, I wanted to be downtown, making the flavor of the town more accessible. I was not disappointed. This place is utterly charming, a well-preserved taste of the 1800s, in which the house was built. “This was such an amazing stay! 4 of us went for a girls weekend and rented all 4 rooms. The owners were more an accommodating! The VRBO listing doesn’t give the parlor they have any credit. After shopping, eating, and exploring all day we ended both nights with drinks in their parlor. Truly a hidden gem!”
