I rented this home mainly for the pool and space for out-of-town family. It served that purpose, but anything beyond the couple days we stayed would be frustrating. The hot tub never worked, despite following instructions. The heater emitted a gas smell, possibly a pilot issue,and the hose ran across the seating area, creating a trip hazard. Backyard furniture was dirty and worn, the only umbrella was broken, so there was no shade at all. Pool drains were exposed (dangerous!). BBQ propane tanks were empty or unusable. Overgrown weeds lined the yard, and a neighbor’s camera pointed directly at the backyard—very intrusive. Something needs to be done about this instrusion. The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main A/C didn’t cool well, and two bedrooms had no A/C at all. The master was the only room with a ceiling fan and TV, but the fan pull broken. The garage had a ping pong and pool table, but the only ping pong ball was quickly lost and the one pool cue was broken. The kitchen and dining areas were spacious and stocked, but the sink leaked badly while doing dishes. The living area was large but could use a deep clean. Trash bins were full on arrival, and the gate had a deadbolt on the outside, raising safety concerns. Anyone would be able to walk in to the backyard, no problem.The owner responded quickly via text, was supposed to come by, instead reviewed camera footage and blamed us for the hot tub issue. The home needs love and needs proper maintenance and care.

Great get-away home for a couple

The property was excellent. Very bright, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed sitting out back in the evenings and just enjoying the space. Very close to perfect for a couple. The only improvements I would suggest would be the toilet operation as we always needed to remember to manually push back the lever to keep the toilet from running. Also we needed to be mindful of limited hot water. It was never really a problem as we kept our showers brief. I suggest a tankless system to the owners. They are very economical and no issues with supply if sized properly. My wife would have preferred a couch to Aderondack chairs for seating, but I found the chairs to be a nice accent to the space and adding to the cape vibe. The house was welcoming and well provisioned with supply items. Decent parking. Felt private. Easy access to a coffee shop and a raw bar. Nice location. Very well managed. Worth the 5 stars and highly recommended at its reasonable price point. We'd definitely stay there again. It was great!

Chatham Cottage

Our stay at the cottage in Chatham Ma. was super nice! The cottage is even better in person! It was perfect for the two of us and our small dog! Clean, comfortable… it really had every thing you would need for a cozy stay and more! We would definitely stay again! It was perfect for us!

Homey Cottage

This one bedroom cottage was just as homey in person as it is in the pictures on the listing. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was roomy. The cottage was exactly what I needed during my first trip to the Cape. 10/10 would recommend!

Charming Chatham Cottage!

Exactly as pictured/described. Very sweet and cozy. Perfect for two people. Enjoyed reading in the private and beautifully landscaped back yard and the outdoor shower was great! The cottage is on a busy street and the neighborhood is more commercial than residential but this was not an issue for us and it was very quiet at night. It's only a few minutes to downtown Chatham by car and there is a free parking lot. Lots of shopping and restaurants. I would point out that it's not especially "walkable" - only 1.5 miles to the beach in town (which was lovely) but sidewalks only about 1/2 the way and there is a lot of traffic. Overall, loved the cottage, we would definitely rent it again.

3rd Stay Here!

We absolutely love Dave and Maria’s place. We’ve used this as an anniversary getaway three times and look forward to many more. The house is tiny, but just what we need. We particularly appreciate the little snacks and small bottle of wine as arrival gifts. Location is great to Chatham Bars (7 mins or so!), downtown area and is across the street from a liquor store and adorable cafe! (We love the coconut coffee). The house, as always, was impeccably clean! Thank you for having us!

Cute and Cozy

The cottage is beautiful. Decor is nautical and classy. Back yard is very nice and my husband loved the bbq grill. The kitchen is small and will work well for those who eat out a lot, but for us, it was too small. We only ate out once. The owners were helpful when we needed them. I highly recommend this cottage for a couple looking to relax.

Wonderful stay for a weekend

Charming in Chatham

Delightful accommodation in Chatham,MA. Easy access to fish pier, downtown shopping, historic sites and great restaurants. Especially enjoyed watching the fishing boats unload their catch (along with the seals), the community band concert in the park, and the gorgeous hydrangea gardens all over town. We’ll definitely be back!!

Lovely Stay, Very Communicative Owners!

I had a lovely stay at this rental, it was clean, David was easily accessible when we accidentally locked ourselves out (oops!), and the rental was small and cozy enough for more than a weekend. The location was great, close to great food spots and downtown Chatham, as well as being within 5-10 minute driving distance of the beaches. If you’re looking for a soft bed to rest in during a packed schedule or beach-oriented weekend, this is your place! Thank you again for the amazing stay!
