“I really enjoyed my one night here and was sorry to go to Carbis Bay Hotel for the following two nights. This ws great valuye for money. Staff professional but friendly and helpful. Room had no view but I was only in it to sleep. ”

“Not as good as last year. They now charge £10per night for parking which was free last year. We were told the bar was closed at 12am on the Friday night, it was open all night last year. On the Saturday night it was still open at past midnight so there seems to be a bit of inconsistency. We had the same issue with food last year when we were told it would take an hour but we ordered anyway and it turned up about 20 minutes later, I think they were trying to discourage us from ordering ”

“It was a lovely stay. Some parts of the hotel needed a bit of attention, but I would return, no doubt. I love the fact it’s an independent hotel. We ate in each night on our 3 night stay, and the quality of the food was fantastic. Also the quality of the bar staff and the reception staff checking in and out. Can’t fault any of them. ”

“It was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly. In sn excellent spot 5 mins walk from the beach. Only downside was when we were there they had a party of school aged children staying so the dining room was not open to us oand guests like us which meant having to search for somewhere to have breakfast or eat in our room. A mini fridge in the rooms wouldve been a great addition”

“The description and reviews give an accurate picture. It’s in a superb location and overlooks the beach. Great places to eat and drink on your doorstep, so no need to cook if you don’t want to. It’s a basic/no frills accommodation -as described- but perfectly comfortable and clean. Great communication with owner prior to the visit. Would return ”
