“The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring.”

“My little doggie and I had a wonderful stay at the Underground Railroad Barn. This is a unique, artfully-renovated property with the feel of modern country living. It was great to relax in the quiet outdoor areas and the spacious backyard was perfect for my dog’s playtime. I hope to return again! ”

“We enjoyed our stay and loved strolling down the lane and seeing the horse and goats! We sat out back on the porch and enjoyed that space as well! Super cute decor and clean. We were in town visiting friends so this place worked out excellent as there were 3 of us so was a great cost effective, comfortable stay. This is on a shared property but was private space to relax and inviting! We would definitely stay again if ever in the area!!!”

“The house was adorable in a quiet neighborhood just outside Kennett Square. We stayed for a lacrosse tournament and we were only 5 min from the fields and 5 minutes from many dining options. The house was well stocked with what we needed to cook while we stayed and the rooms were comfortable. We had two families and had plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Wonderful property located in a peaceful setting. This is our next stay at the Gentlemen’s Farm. Pastoral location that is convenient to Bel Air. House is so clean and well maintained. We had everything available that we needed. Tracey is so responsive in providing information that makes the stay even better. We will stay here again when in the area visiting family.”

“We made good use of this rental, it was convenient to all our family & activities. Host is very kind & quickly helpful on request. The main problem with a basement apt is that the thermostat is usually upstairs in the main house, but host was most accommodating about temperature control. We rested well here and had a nice week.”
