“Friendly service, clean room, beautiful view of the lake. Far enough of the highway so as not to have sleep interfered with by traffic.”

“the bed situation was terrible, bed frame not attached to head board so when i sat on the bed one of the wheels broke , he changed it the next day put it on the wrong way again and one of the wheels broke off again,,,,, the box spring was very squeaky and mattress fell in the middle so you ended up in the middle of the mattress...so i mean you get what you pay for, they could use new beds, bed was other wise clean,,, oh and i must have killed a dozen of lady bugs in the room,,,,”

“Sadly, this was the most disappointing accommodation of our trip. I had dreamed of staying in a dome for years, and after hearing about friends’ luxurious experiences elsewhere, I was really looking forward to this being a highlight of our vacation. Unfortunately, we arrived to a cold dome with very few amenities — just a coffee machine with three pods and paper cups, a bar fridge, and one small lamp that left the dome quite dark at night. There was no running water, and the bathrooms were a...

“We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot.”

“Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!”

“We stayed in #14 cottage which is well-located at the beginning of the Cabot Trail and very close to Baddeck. The property is quite beautiful! The interior is adequate and has a kitchen and appliances, dishes and cutlery, and the beds are comfortable. There is a bath shower in the bathroom. We sat on the large deck adjacent to this cottage in the early evening sun which was pleasant and also sat against later at night to gaze at the stars.”

“An absolutely amazing cabin with everything you need in the heart of Cape Breton. Perfect spot if you are looking to do the Cabot trail. I would come back here in a heartbeat!”

“La habitación está muy vieja la alfombra olía mal y el baño terrible de hace 40 años . La propiedad y el mantenimiento de los jardines está bonito.”

“Great location by the Cabot Trail and friendly host! The view is absolutely beautiful, the lodging is cozy and has all the amenities you need :) Definitely recommended if you plan to stay for a couple of nights with your friends or family!”
