“Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos.”

“This was a favorite space of everyone in my family! The indoor space was fantastic, and I loved the hot tub. The sun room! I just loved spending the rainy evening curled up in the sun room reading a book. My sons enjoyed the provided board games, everyone slept well, and we all loved the quirky fun decor. The host was super responsive and wonderful.”

“It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

“The most magical, beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. If you’re ever in Auckland, treat yourself one night to this beautiful cottage - and ask for the Olive Cottage if possible! You get a private path right to the vineyard/ restaurant! Everything was just perfect during our stay. And the sunsets are breathtaking. Plus the amazing staff leaves fresh breakfast for you each day!”
