“It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

“Even though there was a man there when we arrived, he only confirmed where to find the lock box to get our key. The rooms were very small and the equipment was only adequate. The second day there was no hot water. I read the directions in the book and found the gas bottles to switch them over. The location is very rural, pretty but a long way to stores and restaurants. The driveway is quite narrow.”

“We were unlucky that the fireplace and heating system were not available so it was cold in the night despite the heat pump in the living room. We were glad to have the electric blankets.The twin bedroom was particularly cold (furthest from living room) and they were disturbed in the night by people using the bathroom.Several people also got woken up by the train going past.”

“One of the best farm stay, its extremely beautiful with all the nature surrounding you. And at the same time had all the modern-day facilities to make the stay comfortable. The house was very pretty and cozy, everything was clean and tidy and had every essential require for holiday. The farm itself was amazing our daughters loved to walk around the property and explore, got excited with all the animals specially the cat.
