“Large lovely house set in beautiful vineyard. Looks just like the pictures as advertised. Great air conditioning / heating available in all rooms, very comfortable. Also well equipped kitchen, and really convenient with laundry and dryer. Just some minor maintenance touchups needed (e.g. lightbulb in living room needs to be fixed) and needs a new kettle. More counter space in bathroom would be nice. ”

“Grafton Cottage was so fantastic we changed our stay from 1 night to 3 nights after the first night. Albie (owner) is very personable and accommodating - just basically lovely. The chalet we had our first night was a cute bedsit and had a good view out over the bay. Full cooking facilities, lots of hot water and a spa & pool right by the door. After the first night we loved it so much we asked Albie if we could stay another 2 nights and he had a 2 story chalet free for us which he only...

“The Hotel is a bit dated and needs a refreshing. All the lights on the way to our room were off and most disappointing, the pool was closed due to an outage. This can happen of course, but any kind of compensating this, was refused. We would have expected any sign to adjust the loss of using the pool area. It is that that reception was not willing to do so. As a consequence we did not use the restaurant on our second day. This behavior is not a 4 star hotel behavior. That's a pity.”

“Nice motel close to the Mitai Maori Village. We were able to walk the short distance to the show at the village. Nice size kitchenette and large room. ”

“I liked the location and the staff were very obliging. The unit was clean and comfortable but the whole property needed an uplift. The fountain in the front was surrounded by a weedy garden and it is supposed to be the frontispiece of the property. The unit needed a refit to make it more up to date.”
