Perfect Nosara Getaway!

We had such a great stay at this property. The place was spotless and felt very well cared for. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, yet tucked away in a quiet area that made it easy to relax. Everything about the experience was smooth and simple, from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Great for families

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Colorado. This was our second time in Nosara, and we knew we wanted to stay close to the beach. It was an easy walk, and also just down the road from Bodhi Tree, which has great community yoga classes. The outdoor dining area was especially nice. Good to have AC in both bedrooms. Check in was easy. Nosara is a special place!

Beautiful property

The house was well appointed and inviting for our family of three. The AC in the bedrooms was a welcome touch, while the outside deck and pool were a great place to relax and listen to the howler monkeys. Short 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to local restaurants made it a great spot to call home base. Make sure to bring or purchase beach towels on the trip as they are not provided in house. Great surf, fresh food and a peaceful area to get away.

Beautiful property and home

Was some construction going on behind us which we were not made aware of but this whole region is growing so I think it will be common for many locations. This home is beautiful however and was really an amazing getaway for my wife and I.

Gorgeous home

This is the place to stay!! I did a ton of research looking at several listings and I’m so happy this is the house I chose. I can’t say enough great things about this home. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out! We walked to the beach very morning and to breakfast and shopping! The Blue Sands staff were all amazing and made check in and check out very easy. We felt extremely safe in this area. And will absolutely be staying at this house again on our next trip to Costa Rica!

A beautiful spot

We had a great stay. The house is lovely and the pool and garden are small but great. There is a lot of construction in the area so it was quite noisy during the day. Great monkey and bird citings. My son left some things outside one night and got stolen. Overall a great spot and the staff are helpful!

Great stay at Casa Colorado. Loved the outdoor space, outdoor shower and living space. Very well equipped, had everything we needed. Rental agency was very responsive to our questions as well as fixing a few things as quickly as possible at the house. They assign a guard to your house every night from 5-10pm and he was very nice. Howler monkeys in the trees above were cool to watch and listen to. Due to rains & huge potholes, found it easiest to be dropped off at main beach entrance. Great stay.

Casa Colorado in Nosara was simply incredible

Words cannot express of how wonderful and refreshing this house (Casa Colorado) is. We enjoyed every moment of our stay: from the open concept, to the cool and refreshing pool, to the outside dinning table, to the well equipped kitchen, to the amazing wilderness (exactly why we go to Costa Rica) surrounding the house. That is before we even talk about the incredible beach in Playa guiones which is a short walk. Walking to the beach morning and then again in the afternoon is a beautiful way to spend a day. The hospitality, attention and customer service by Mr. Waldir, Mr. Mario and Mr. Willy is what then takes this amazing house to the next level of a vacation stay. Muchas gracias for having us stay at Casa Colorado. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back soon.

Cette maison pourrait être parfaite mais malheureusement, il y a un problème d’infestation de fourmis. J’ai arrêté de compter combien nous en avons tuées. Elles sont partout: comptoir de cuisine, murs, lits, cuvette de toilette, etc. La compagnie de gestion a été réactive et a envoyé une équipe afin de régler le problème en aspergeant la maison et le jardin d’insecticide mais les effets n’ont pas duré. De plus, cette même journée, quelqu’un a volé des sandales et un maillot qui étaient dans le jardin, en plein jour. alors que nous y étions.Nous avons apprécié la piscine et le jardin, l’espace bbq ainsi que la salle à manger extérieure. La cuisine est bien équipée.Il est possible de marcher jusqu’à la plage mais la plupart des restaurants sont trop loin pour y aller à pieds.

Great stay overall

We stayed as a family, 2 adults and 2 children (age 7 and 9). The pool and outdoor space was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and the place was really clean. Loved the outdoor shower. The place is close the beach and surfing. We rented a golf cart and having wheels is a must otherwise it is far from restaurants. We had a bunch of our beach stuff, that was drying on the deck, stolen overnight. We didn’t bring it inside because it was wet and sandy. A safe place to hang things to dry inside would be ideal. Hooks in the outdoor shower would be a solution. It is important to note that the front section of the property isn’t fenced. Wasn’t a big deal until a bunch of our stuff was stolen. Property management company was less than helpful about this aspect of our stay.

Excellent Fall Getaway

This visit was my family's fourth visit and third stay in Guiones. We love the north end of Guiones for it's residential feel while still maintaining easy beach access. The house was well equipped in the kitchen which is very important to me. The blender was broken when we arrived and the property manager replaced it immediately with a brand new one which was necessary for all the yummy smoothies we made. This is right down the road from Bodhi Tree and a quick ride to Downtown Guiones and everything near the Guilded Iguana. There were more than enough linens, the in house washer and dryer allowed us to pack light and the pool was the perfect size for my family of four. The home was surrounded by excellent vegetation providing that jungle feel and privacy. The outdoor dining area was perfect for every meal and card games at night. I highly recommend Casa Colorado.

The house was as charming as we could have hoped. All elements were modern and new. It was immaculate. The grounds were well designed and maintained. I cant speak highly enough of the management company. Extremely responsive. The only small concern is that the adjacent property put up a chain link fence that detracts a bit from the aesthetics and view. I imagine the obviously conscientious owners will address that at some point soon.

Great house great location

My son and I had a great time in Nosara and enjoyed the the storms and big surf. The house had multiple roof leaks and the non stop rain made it impossible to repair while we were there. Once those are fixed it would be a 5 star experience.
