“Expected more for the price. Cramped stairs up to room. A/C not working. TV not working, had to rummage around to discover it was unplugged. Door to room jammed. Guest reception staff not that helpful, stressed that main lodge and reception desk would close at 10 pm, emergency-only service available overnight. Just a mediocre experience overall.”

“At risk of increasing my competition for a room here, Lamie’s inn is amazing! It feels like you’re visiting home. I like that it has character- I had a beer in the bar and it was full of people and life! The rooms are comfy and spacious. There is tea and coffee available at all times and a little lounge area on the second floor. I am tired of sterile chain hotels that lack life and the personal touch. I try yo return whenever I can. ”

“The location was great. Easy to find and safe to walk around at anytime of the day. Room was wonderful. The bed was firm which my husband mentioned a few times and we needed to ask for more pillows since ours flattened out quick but overall a wonderful stay. ”

“The property is very attractive and the staff is attentive, but the walls are very thin and you hear everything in the next room. My stay was marred by a neighbor who coughed nonstop day and night. If privacy or silence is important to you, this place might not be for you. ”
