“We’ve used VRBO many times before but were scammed this time. We arrived in advance of a wedding in OC, NJ with our family and our pet to find this place in a total state of construction with no floors, furniture all piled up in the hallway, unflushed toilet, etc etc. All the while, some wacko is communicating with me through VRBO’s messenger app guiding me to the key for the house and saying “they’ve never had a situation like this before”. Happy others seem to have had a decent experience but...

“The apartment had absolutely beautiful views from the living room. Situated perpendicular to Central Park, we got great views of uptown and midtown Manhattan, and could see a bit of downtown.It was extremely easy to get into the city with NJTransit and anywhere else with rideshares. Food options in the neighborhood were great, and we loved the bodegas and Latino markets for quick and easy food runs. The kitchen was nicely stocked with spices, pots/pans, plates, and utensils.Fit our group of six...

“The location of this property is excellent as it is a half of a block to the beach. The property is spacious, providing enough bedrooms and beds for a large family gathering. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking family meals. Overall this is a great place!”

“First thing, very misleading, in listing should have been that this was a second floor location. We appreciated that you put a light on out back so I could see the stairs that I had to take 1 at a time. Spiral stair case in side, should have a cover over it upstairs. We heard all conversations and food preparation and aromas. I’m sure downstairs hated hearing football. Master bed was wonderfully comfortable”

“The house was very cute and cozy. The yard was great for our dogs. Really appreciated that. Anthony was great about communicating and even let us in early. It was a little smaller than I expected but fine for 3 adults and 2 dogs. The house was very clean. There was a playground and library very close by if you have kids. There was no dishwasher. ”

“Our whole family gathering really enjoyed this great home! The house is very spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location was perfect to walk to the beach or Sunset lake. The backyard had 2 nice picnic tables where we had several family dinners together. It was a practical and comfort home for our vacation! ”
