I had to stay in the area because of a massagekurs. The best choice.. so friendly and familiar. Because of some renewing jobs I had my room upgratet. Wundervoll view to the pool. Schould I want to do more courses iam definitely going to stay at Ellie’s. Thank you all and you Apri for the ride to the shop and your advices. We keep in touch. Thanks from Gita

Ellies - Home away from Home in Bali Dec 22-Dec31

From the moment you arrive - Your Driver is welcoming and so helpful - Then you get to the Hotel, Apri and her team take over, It was our first trip to Bali (my wife & I travel the world) as we thought Bali was too close, this Xmas we just wanted a quick get away, and we got a wonderful holiday with a family atmosphere, Apri, Mr Jin, Era, Ketut & Mhura are all lovely and look after you like family, The setting is homely , (its a small Boutique Hotel) the service is great and unobtrusive, We had rain and some days heavy rain 7 out of the 9 days We had scooter & car hire arranged at very reasonable cost per day , we missed nothing, They could ring a Taxi and it was there in minutes, nothing was a trouble , Apri thank you & your team for all the laughs and the enjoyable time , we really are looking forward to coming back , (don't tell anyone else about the Fried Banana & Cheese ...) with family to stay with you all again, take care & have a wonderful 2018 kind regards E & Craig (Kiwi's)

Lovely, peaceful and typically Balinese place

Apri at the reception will do anything to make sure you feel like at home. Nice pool, good WiFi, yummy breakfast. A perfect place to stay at!

Nice little hotel tucked away from the main street

We had a lovely little weekend break & stayed at Ellie's Hotel - the staff were obliging to requests and always smiling. There's a small pool which is kept beautifully clean & established plants and trees around the area. There's a good collection of DVD's available, should you choose to stay in. We were invited to use the rooftop terrace when we asked for an extra pot of their delicious coffee, one morning after breakfast - great views from up there.

Comfortable accomodations with incredible staff

The staff at Ellie's are incredible. They are kind and welcoming. The room that I stayed in was very cozy. I was looking for something that was clean and comfortable and simple. I definitely got all of the above. Ellie's is not for someone who is looking to have a lavish, touristy experience in Bali. But for someone who wants to get a semblance of a local experience with great service, it is wonderful. There is limited Wi-Fi, so it allows for guests to separate themselves from their smartphones and just be present. Food service is limited to breakfast, however they are options to order food in. The neighborhood is not in the heart of the tourist area, but it is nearby and drivers are happy to take you. This was definitely a positive for me because I got to experience a little bit of what it would be like to live there as a local. There is no bar and the nightlife in this area is very limited.

One of those special hotel's.

We loved Ellie's! Firstly all the staff were excellent, rooms cleaned spot on, quiet and comfortable. We were collected by De from the airport, a little worried as the luggage conveyor broke down and a long customs check, hoping he was still there, but no need, he was still there. On the short trip to Ellie's De explained some of the places to go. On arrival at Ellie's we were met by Apri and Ketut who checked us in quickly and efficiently. The room was as described. During the next few days we quickly felt ourselves at home, with pleasant, helpful and efficient staff, with Nita, Era and Iluh taking great care of our breakfasts which were perfect for the start of the day, including great coffee! Apri suggested some local eateries which proved to be excellent, whose meals we also had delivered to the the hotel. The hotel also supplied us with a scooter at a very reasonable price which we found to be useful to get around the local sites and beaches. We wanted to have a look around a little bit further afield and Apri organized for De to drive us to some unforgettable places with a lot of useful info on route, a top guide and a very nice guy, all at a good price! In all a great place to stay, staff were always pleasant and very helpful and we were treated more like family than guests with nothing too much trouble. Special thanks to Apri, a great host! I would stay there again without question and recommend Ellie's. Thank's to all for making our stay memorable.

Ellie's Hotel feels like coming home.

Conveniently located within a short drive to the airport, Nusa Dua, and less than 30 min drive to Kuta. Perfect for the international paragliding community, the staff at Ellie's are very familiar with Timbis Beach paragliding. Clean, comfortable, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. Delicious complimentary breakfast options. Always willing to help provide advice on any topic; food, transportation, tourist attractions, medical services, laundry, etc. Stunning views from the rooftop, and great massage services available too! Reasonably priced, I always love staying at Ellie's every time I come to Bali!

Perfect spot for my stay

I had a wedding in Nusa Dua and Ellies hotel was perfect for my stay. The room was simple and clean, the water hot and nice. The staff was very nice helping out with the breakfast as I had to leave earlier than the normal service time every day. I also had a really nice massage directly in my bedroom. In terms of location is not close to the main street in Nusa Dua (10 mins driving so it's not easy to walk there) but I didn't need to go there so I didn't mind. I'd go back again

Wonderful staff

A small boutique hotel in inland Nusa Dua. It is approx 5 km from Nusa Dua beach and 5 km from Jimbaran Bay in a narrow alleyway. The staff was wonderful, Apri the manager made us feel at home, she was always there serving little Indonesian treats for us to try. Dewi cooked us delicious breakfasts, D and Gin drove us to different destinations. Meals can be ordered from a few restaurants and will be served in the hotel. This saves people having to venture out onto the busy main street. The Indonesian restaurant take away had good food at very low prices. I could not contact them for an airport pick up so I rang Wotif and they were very efficient in ringing the manager and organising the pick up. I would highly recommend this hotel for people who like to relax and enjoy the "Real" Bali.

Great staff

Booked in for 1 night to access the immigration office for visa extension. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Made what was supposed to be a quick bed for the night, into a very pleasureable experience.

a nice hotel

This hotel has a wonderful staff that is extremely helpful. They didn't have a restaurant other than for breakfast but they did have several take away menus with lovely food that they served directly to us, a really nice solution. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a really relaxing time by the pool (which was really nice). The area isn't the best but it is nice for a couple of days if you want to relax from a hectic backpacker life. There's a really nice supermarket near by and if you take a cab it's not more than a couple of minutes to the beach.

Praktisches Hotel

Ich bin in Ellies Hotel gezogen, da ich von dort aus einen Schnorchel Trip gemacht habe und zu den Gili Islands gefahren bin. Da man für solche Aktivitäten immer abgeholt wird, hat es sich Angeboten ein günstiges Hotel zu nehmen, was nicht sehr zentral ist.

Good clean friendly hotel

Sat could not be friendlier and do anything for you it is very clean it not close to the beach or main night spots but only 10 minutes in a taxi and was always cheap would stay again

Amazing find

Amazing staff, amazing pool. Had to get food from other places if it wasn't breakfast time, great Indonesian place across the road so were weren't bothered. Pool was amazing. Also a bit of a distance from anywhere, but taxis are cheap
