2/10 Terrible

While this property works well for a large group, it does not match the photos. There was trash all over the property outside (old rusting chairs, chip bags, etc.), and the decking is starting to fall apart. There had been a significant storm event, so when we arrived, the driveway was covered in sand, and the garage door was ajar from piled-up sand/debris. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. The inside was clean but had a broken set of blinds in the living room, broken tiles in one of the bathrooms, and all toilet paper holders were broken off the walls. The light fixture in one room had a single bulb working out of 6; the trim in the kitchen was balanced (not nailed) against the cabinets and fell over constantly. The deck furniture is dilapidated, and the overall feel is run-down. The house has clearly been converted, and for some reason several of the rooms had plexiglass windows on the interior of the home as opposed to walls. The linens and furniture were very comfortable and clean. Overall we did enjoy the stay, but they definitely need to do some updates and upkeep. If you have a large group, it might be worth the stay; just be aware the photos don't match the feel at all. BIGGEST CONCERN: the owner never refunded our 200 damage deposit, though no damage was done by us or reported to VRBO. They claimed repeatedly to have refunded us, but VRBO had to step in (they were awesome) and process our refund. Ming was VERY difficult to communicate with.
