“As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely.”

“Quite community located next to the white water companies and the gorge bridge. Perfect weekend getaway”

“Just like Grandma's house. Easy access full of charm.”

“We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed. It was super clean and conveniently located too. The host responded to communication timely.”

“The place was ideally located and the accommodations were nice, Danielle was very responsive with any questions we had!”

“What a beautiful home - this house makes you feel like you are back in time to the 1920s (in the best way!). It is very spacious for groups (we had 7 adults and two kids), and everything was super simple. Checkin was easy, check out is a breeze. It’s a great location too - just close enough to most of the NRG attractions but away enough for the peacefulness and getaway feel. We would absolutely stay again, and fell in love with West Virginia and New River Gorge!”

“It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.”

“This property was the perfect place to return to each night! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the host was great to work with.”

“Everything is great”

“We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.”

“We loved staying here. It was very clean and it was nice to see that there was things that we usually have to bring such as laundry detergent, soaps and shampoos. That was a plus for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the haul from the road to the house with our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

“Very clean and cute! Had everything we needed and more. Great location for area exploration and adventures. Host was quick to respond, check in and out easy, laundry useful, etc. Great spot to stay!”

“Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located close to everything!”

“Awesome house in the heart of town. Great spot for me to set as my home base to explore all the areas of New River Gorge. Would for sure recommend. Walkable to local spots for coffee or lunch/dinner. Hosts instructions were very clear. 10/10”
