Charming and rustic, very comfortable historic home located a short walk from everything you'd want to do downtown. Very responsive host (thank you Margaret!) good wi-fi and comfy beds. Excellent value, especially if you're staying with your family. We would definitely stay here again when we need accommodations in downtown Ocala!

Great place for what we needed. The house was overall clean, beds and furniture were comfy and conveniently located to downtown Ocala. The only downside was the water was not super hot in the shower. Also the parking spot that is dedicated is as soon as you turn into the driveway on the right. We struggled to find it when we got there but we arrived late. There is a sign on the house.

I love older homes so I enjoyed the high ceilings, the pocket & stain glass doors, the millwork…the antiquity of the home. What I didn’t enjoy which older homes are famous for …was the lack of closets in two of the bedrooms. Handling you clothes were difficult. Also it would have been nice to have a lamp for bedside reading in the queen room.With that said, the spaciousness, the furnishing, the location, the cleanliness and the all over atmosphere was very warm & cozy. It is as it is advertised & I would definitely book it Again!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this in a historic building which was within walking distance of downtown Ocala. The host was responsive. The only consideration for a larger group (of more than a few people) would be the fact that it has one bathroom.

Host responded quickly. The third bedroom is connected to the second bedroom with a curtain door and there was no lights for the two rooms. They did make me aware of it and said maintenance was coming, but no one ever came.It is a four person unit and the walls are very thin both nights you could hear them loudly and early parts of the morning. The property is very well kept and real close to downtown which makes it a plus if I wouldn’t have had those few hiccups it would’ve been a five star

Comfortable stay at this property. Location is excellent, walking distance to historic city center with restaurants, shops and bars. Large farmers market on Saturday. House is vintage and charming but needs some upgrades. Please understand when booking that you are only renting about 1/4 of the property and there will be other occupants. The laundry is accessible to all occupants and located just off the kitchen. I was startled when I heard noise from the laundry room in the morning while I was in the kitchen. Excellent value for the price and in a safe neighborhood.

Nice apartment, lots of space

The front rooms of this apartment were lovely, clean, and in good repair. The bedrooms and bathrooms needed some repairs to fix things like cracked walls, leaky faucets, damaged ceilings, etc. The things shown in the photos are accurate, but the photos seem to have been taken carefully (i.e., trouble areas are blurred or just out of sight) in order not to show the areas of concern.

Location was great!

The location of this big old historic home is perfect. It's very close to grocery stores, Walgreens and the downtown is an easy walk . The Saturday Farmers Market is only a few blocks away and I really enjoyed that market. It's very large with a great variety of items. This is an historic home in the historic district of Ocala. It seemed very safe and it was really a nice area to walk in and admire all of the old historic homes. The beds were comfortable. There is a lot of room. There are two fireplaces one in the dining room and one in the living room. The furniture was very comfortable . It was decorated very nicely. There's a full kitchen. The only downfall was that the floors were not very clean. I did report it to the property manager and she offered to send cleaning people over right away to get it cleaned up. I was too tired and didn't want to deal with that so I just took care of it myself. Hopefully they will get a new cleaning company that does the job right. Other than the cleanliness of the floors I really enjoyed my stay at this home.

Great Historical House

The house was historic and beautiful! The living areas were large and spacious. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable and clean. Located in the beautiful Historic District just walking distance to restaurants, nightlife and a farmer’s market. We had a great time. Centrally located. Host was very informative and helpful. Definitely stay here again! 5 stars ⭐️
