We have rented many apartments over the past several years all over the world. We have always been successful until we stayed in this place.
Negatives: The place is very dated and basic. There was a very strong chemical smell that was awful and did not go away in the week we were there.
The queen bed was so creaky that when ever my husband or I turned over, we woke each other up. In the other bedroom, the air conditioner was so loud. Luckily it didn’t bother our son but there would be no ways that my husband or I could sleep in that room with that noise.
In all the places we have stayed, this is the first one we had to pay $100 dollars for linen and towels.
The linen and towels were old and some of the towels were stained. They were also not hotel size. (a bit too small)
They did warn us that there was no soap or cleaning supplies but there was no kettle, no dish clothes or cleaning rag (just an old sponge) and no dish rack. We were not informed that there was no hairdryer either.
Other things that would have been nice would have been bath mats and soap holders. These are all inexpensive basic items.
The apartment is also old and the entrance old and dirty.
Positives:
The apartment was clean and a nice size. It was is on the beach.
When I called to complain, Shoreline were professional and prompt. They did drop off some more towels and a small kettle. They said they did not supply all the items mentioned above due to theft. We did give a damage deposit and if that were the case, they could always deduct if anything was missing.
